It was so welcoming and inviting. Right when we walked inside, we felt at home. The layout was comfortable, the outside patio overlooking the canal was charming. Excellent place for bike storage and the breakfast was delicious. The staff we interacted with with extremely friendly and personable. Thank you Manu!

I arrived quite late and they were very ready to accommodate this. The breakfast was a traditional German breakfast with very fresh bread rolls, and most importantly, real coffee (which is becoming much less common with the proliferation of self-service coffee machines at hotels. The bar and restaurant are clearly used by locals. which is a good sign. (Staff and customers most friendly, though I had some slight communication difficulties following the local BW accent.

The property was within easy walking distance of town centre in a very quiet area. The staff were polite helpful and courteous and able to answer any questions posed to them. The room I had was at front of hotel facing onto the street and although I forgot to close the window on first night and was able to hear people out at front door no such problems for remainder of my stay. The room itself was more than I’d hoped for and very spacious with more than ample room for clothes storage. The bathroom was an more than ideal size for a single person and fresh towels everyday, the shower was clean and easy to use . The breakfast area was large and plenty of seating , the choices were plentiful and simple more than enough choices for most people . There was a cooler which provided cold drinks in reception area

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to friends and family. The town of Esslingen is a lovely place to visit, and the hotel is very well situated to both the old town and the railway station.

Betty and Iren - those who work morning and prepares breakfast were super kind, I have lots of good memories during our morning breakfast discussions. I have gotten so close with them that they offered me to leave my dirty laundry with them and they would clean them that night. I felt I was at home and the ladies were my sister and my mother. Of course, some gratuity would be nice for them as they have lots of work to do. Food was good, as expected from typical hotel, eggs are better when you get there early because they are still warm. Betty also offered to take me to the Esslingen train station and called taxi to drop me off, which are all services I did not expect from a small hotel. The location is close to Denkendorf so in the morning I walked across the field for about 15-20 minutes to get to work. I also love the drawings and artwork that hangs in between the hallways. No AC units, but you do not need it as there are fans and windows that you could open.

A beautiful guest house with comfortable beds and a excellent bathroom facilities. Exactly what we needed.
