Fantastic situation, it is at only 8 minutes walk from the village Mindo on a flat road.... In Mindo we could rent electric bikes and electric quads to get around.... The suites are surrounded of nature ans we were delighted of the colibris, toucans and colorful butterflies flying around us... the pool and the jacuzzi are very clean and pleasant.... the breakfast was very nice as well

Margarita and her team are exceptional. Welcoming. Attentive. Informative. The location is excellent. The open restaurant looks into the jungle garden with large numbers of colourful birds. The place is modern. They arranged trips for us. We booked three nights but ended up staying five nights and were reluctant to leave. The entire Mindo experience was wonderful. Small friendly town, accessible cloud forest activities.

I echo all these superb reviews on here about the host, German. He was truly exceptional and such a gentleman. He was friendly, attentive, informative and available to help. He kept me informed when he was going to be unavailable and spent time explaining things to me with my limited Spanish skills. I spent some time trying to spot a toucan and German spotted one within five minutes of asking him. He even took a bug out of my room for me (Gracias, German!). Great location in the middle of the forest, surrounding by raw beauty and birds flying all around you. It is also within walking distance of the Tarabita cable car and next to the Tangeras reserve. A pair of binoculars and a telescope are also available along with filtered water, hot water and a range of herbal teas. Rooms were basic but comfortable, great value for money and small discount offered with extended stay, laundry service (washing machine and dryer) also available for a fair fee. I’m very grateful for this truly memorable stay!

Esther was an amazing host! Helped out with a spider. beautiful surroundings in the forest and really nice food. it’s out of town, so you need a taxi, but we loved the location. Saw 6 toucans and so many hummungbirds

The room was great. Location was awesome, as it was enough out of the center that it was quiet and more of a "private" feel. There is a river that runs right along the property that is amazing to dip in on hot days. Breakfast was so fun, right next to the river and great food!
