Great location. A beautiful, family run hotel. Very clean, comfortable and delicious breakfast.

Everything was so nice, new, comfortable and clean It was a very nice stop on the Camino

Location, well positioned and although an older hotel it was well maintained. Good beds and clean bathroom. A special mention to the staff who went over and above by packing us a lunch for the pilgrim journey the next day.

Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Easy walking distance to town. Amiable and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, good blackout blinds, air conditioning. Professional organisation and easy check-in. Highly recommend.

Very interesting and well furnished property in the heart of Comillas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing

What's not to like; Everything was perfect and we were made to feel as if we were part of the family. Our host was exceptional in every aspect. We were so happy to be there and it was so beautiful.

Casa Santiago is located in the very centre of Comillas, an attractive and historic town close to the Cantabrian coast. It has a decidedly homely feel and is comfortable, spacious and well set up, especially in the kitchen. The apartment is well insulated and made for being exceptionally quiet overnight. It also has a glorious terrace with outdoor table, furniture and shade umbrellas overlooking the main plaza. The owners are wonderful and were anxious to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The box of local biscuits they left for us was a lovely touch. Whilst having no English (and we no Spanish) they showed us around when we arrived and helped us find a free parking spot for our car close by. Comillas itself is full of interest with its cobbled and pedestrian medieval centre, small fishing harbour, expansive sandy beach and mix of grand palaces, long established University and stately homes, including the spectacular ‘Caprese’ designed by architect Antonio Gaudi. Our stay there and at Casa Santiago was a standout.

Excellent location with parking space in underground garage. Great view over the square. The duplex also provided a very big space. Upstairs has been modernised and was a good separate space for older children.

Beautiful apartment located in the old town.

Located close to the Gaudi house. Near the town square and Camino trail. Located 10 minutes from the beach. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Also loved their cozy TV lounge.
