Location, well positioned and although an older hotel it was well maintained. Good beds and clean bathroom. A special mention to the staff who went over and above by packing us a lunch for the pilgrim journey the next day.

Excellent accommodation right on the Camino Del Norte. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful in every way. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Our double room was very clean, with a recently renovated bathroom. We had a little outdoor balcony area, which was very nice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to the palace and the old town area.

The view was amazing and it was secluded from the rest of the town which was nice as it was a bit busy still

The views from the building are amazing. We had a big balcony to enjoy them from. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The spread at breakfast was impressive, with fruit, pastries and I'd recommend the homemade muffins!

Quiet location within walking distance from Comillas church. The hotel is very nice and spacious and the surroundings are very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it!

Unbeatable location, almost in the water, easy to get beach. Good value breakfast. If you want water front just book this place.

If you want Spain then you have found it. El Rincon De Cabello is possibly as Spanish as you are likely to find and they make no excuses for it. The hotel is found in Trasierra and the next stop is the Atlantic. The host spoke some English but that was the only non Spanish voice we heard during our two day stay. Not that it stops locals talking to you. They are incredibly friendly and will chat even though it tested my grasp of the language. The food is local dishes so don't expect to understand all of the menu. What we did have was freshly cooked and well presented. breakfast is basic but the evening meals were excellent. Despite its traditional roots the rooms are modern and quite new. They were of a reasonble size, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was ideal with plenty of hot water. Walk out of the village and you are on the hills above the beach. Typical of the area the nearest beach is a cove with a 200meter sandy beach cleaned regularly by the pounding surf. In December it was empty but I would imagine its a lively space through the warmer months. There are two restaurants and a surf school. We found plenty to fill our the days in the area which caters very much for Spanish tourists. A visit to Guadi's only construction outside of Barcelona and a Redwood forest with magnificent towering Sequoia's but a rubbish cafe. In direct contrast was the cheese factory and bread shop in Cobreces, the next village. You go into the bread shop, skirt the ovens and open fire then pick the still warm bread or pastries piled into baskets waiting to be snapped up.

It was clean, airy, comfortable and well situated

The staff were exceptionally friendly. We arrived early and they were very helpful in getting our room ready for us before checkin. The location is excellent, 5 minute stroll to the beach. They offer parking which you really need when busy as there are cars and camper vans parked in all public spaces. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Its a beautiful walk over the bridge into the old town of San Vincente de le Baquera. Room was lovely and spacious for a family of 4. Good value for money on a very busy weekend.

Lovely rooms and staff. Comfy beds, bathroom with a shower and a bath. Excellent dinner and we loved that we could just get a coffee and cake before setting off on our camino as we cannot manage a full breakfast. The swimming pool was a delight to ease our aching legs. Would stay again.
