Very welcoming hosts who made comfort and aesthetics a priority. Beautiful house and gardens and both are impeccable. Breakfast was very good . Very close to the center of Roussillon which is a beautiful village close to Gordes .

The location is very quiet and peaceful. Caroline is an amazing host who thinks of every single detail to make your stay lovely. The breakfast was good with local products, served on the terrace where you can enjoy the morning Sun. The room was welcoming, nice and cozy. We could not have asked for more.

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

Sandra is a great host. The gardens around her home are very expansive and full of nature. The weather was sunny but cool, so we had our gorgeous breakfast inside her beautiful, artistic home instead of on the terrace. The views are amazing across the valley towards the mountains. Sandra goes to so much trouble to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The village of Vaugines is so peaceful and authentic, not at all too touristy. It has two lovely places to eat just a few minutes walk from the house and great little Epicerie where you can buy some convenient food if you are too tired to dine out or drive. It was the perfect base for our four-day stay in Provence. We were able to visit the iconic villages in the area, the Camargue and more. We would highly recommend. Many thanks to Sandra for her wonderful hospitality.

An exceptional hotel, situated in its own vineyard. The location is fabulous, the food as very good and the wine of course is from their own production. Our stay included a complementary wine tasting in the vineyard shop (across the road). The Manager went out of her way to ensure all food requests were met. The gardens are beautiful and well kept, and there is a swimming pool for guests. The water was a little warmer than my taste, but I am sure most guests will like it that way. We stayed for four nights

Beautiful, old but well refurbished. Well appointed near to the village in an ancient property with modern interior. Lovely and clean, comfortable and easy with a good shower room and small modern kitchenette. Perfect for our needs. Friendly, kind and helpful owner who was on site for any queries but gave us space.
