Beautifully decorated. Understated but chic

First off the location of the hotel is perfectly centered and just a ~8 minute walk to Megève town centre, and far enough to not have any noise. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very simple but delicious. The bed was comfy as well as the pillows. Dinner came with unlimited dessert which was a surprise, much enjoyed. The bathroom was very neat and tidy. The head concierge Ben was very accommodating and made sure nothing wad short of our stay and wrote us an itinerary and recommendations, which was very helpful and made sure to give us multiple suggestions. The hotel is obviously on the pricer side and that is without the dinners, however i do believe you get what you pay for as the experience and place speaks for itself. The outdoor thermal pools were my favorite along with the outdoor sauna. We asked to be checked in early and all our requirements have been met.

The accommodation was great value for money. Well located, 300m to 2 of the main ski lifts and the ski bus stop, 20minutes walk into town on a car free path (probably catch the ski bus back its quite steep). Had great, knowledgeable, helpful, multilingual staff. The rooms are quite spacious for the price and proximity to the slopes. The undercover garage & snow clearance from the roads & paths were very useful. The restaurant was good value and excellent food, producing 50 plus nicely cooked steaks to individual order on NYE is impressive. Selling bread and pastries for self-catering breakfast was a useful bonus. The swimming pool was great too. Good ski lockers. Nice private area to sit outside. There's an on site ski hire shop which we discovered to late to use.

This was our 2nd stay and we love it. The food...oh my...excellent in every respect breakfast and dinner both. The room was lovely (last year we had a balcony room that had an amazing view) and on the lower level with doors out to the grass. The Cordonant books up many months in advance so we were lucky to stay this summer...it's very special.

Apartment is in very good condition (just 3 years since full renovation ), has a lot of space and very comfortable beds. Enjoy the exceptional Mountain View while having a drink at the terrace. Marc is a great host and has lots of tips of things to do in the region, we will come back for a longer visit some day.
