The host is very kind and really communicative. The location is very quiet, and it’s within the boundary of the owners’ own home, but with it’s own fenced-off area. The property is new, clean and really well appointed. The bed was so comfy, and the sofá bed in the lounge was also the comfiest of our entire three-week road trip. The secure courtyard is great for those travelling with pets - our small dog loved being able to wander outside. We had our own car and parking is generally outside in the small enclave but we were able to park within the property boundary for the single night of our stay as the car charging area was required. The drive to town was only 5 minutes to a cheap, spacious public car park, which was near to the centre and old town area, and we easily found dinner and could explore town on foot. There is a fantastic large park and lake very close to the property (5 mins walk), which was great for getting the dog out and about and for a good walk after a long day in the car.

This was a lovely accommodation, very comfortable beds and good furniture, very tastefully decorated and with a lot of attention to detail. Good for parking right outside the apartment/gite and welcome to having a dog with us. Amelie was a very welcoming and warm host who met us at the property which is in the grounds of her own property. A 20 minute or so walk in to the centre of Dax which has some charm. Some nice walks nearby with countryside/ forest on your doorstep.
