Shaun was the most amazing, welcoming host we ever had!

In Scotland, everything is authentic and incredible. We spent 10 days exploring it as a family and were thrilled. But Black Bull Gartmore was undoubtedly one of the most special. We arrived late due to weather conditions, and they were kind enough to serve us dinner in their pleasant restaurant despite being overdue. We were very grateful. The place has all the flavors of the world, with photos that tell the story of this beautiful town and the family. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Highly recommended, close to Stirling and surrounded by a wonderful agricultural environment.

The location and presentation of the place was amazing, we used it as a base to explore the area which was just beautiful. And after all the walking the hot tube was very welcomed and being a log burner one made it even better!. It was a very romantic setting and we had a great time.

Good central location for exploring Scotland. Very well equipped house for cooking and excellent showers, comfy clean beds and lovely cosy open fire.

Amazing breakfast including both continental and scottish with gluten and dairy free options, which you have in cozy dining rooms. Professional and welcoming staff. Clean room with all you need. The hotel has a footpath into the neighboring towns which is a delightful stroll.

Great apartment, well equiped. We felt like home.:) There is attention to the details in decoration, in the welcoming. My daughter love the "bees" blankets ! The location is great in the center of Aberfoyle, close to shops, restaurants. It is also central for many visits and trails in the lochs and Trossachs area. I definitely recommend !

An absolutely lovely stay, I would highly recommend. Very spacious cottage with everything you require (very well stocked kitchen). The hosts are absolutely lovely and attentive. They were more than happy to provide local recommendations and advise. If you're a walker this is an ideal location, I would 100% recommend - book this stay, we'll be returning!

A very enjoyable stay. Laura was in communication before arrival and met us with the keys to the property. The accommodation was spotless and very cosy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to friends and family in the future.

Excellent spot! We loved the hottub after an intensive day of cycling. The hosts gave us the best and warmest welcome and did everything in their power to make us as comfortable as can be.

Liked everything about this hotel. The staff were wonderful, friendly but professional. Food and facilities were great. Surroundings were stunning.

Very clean bathrooms and everything else. We stayed couple nights in the safari tent and it was a great experience.
