Liz is a fantastic host and I'm sad I could only stay one night at Ardullie. The Bungalow is large, spotless, with everything you can possibly need. The enclosed garden is excellent for dogs and the welcome package is absolutely wonderful with fresh eggs, homemade bread and even honey from Liz's bees. I loved everything about my stay at Ardullie, I'll be back!

It was fantastic to stay in a castle built around 1100AD. Enough characteristics still remain to make the night special. We had a great meal. The staff were very cheerful and accommodating. The transformation to bathroom accommodation per room has been done really well, with big showers. A good size room to accommodate our suit case

The accommodation was in a perfect situation for breaking our journey between Orkney and Edinburgh. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, suggesting local places for eating within walking distance. Hopefully we'll stay again on future travels.

The location was ideal for us being central to our holiday plan. We enjoyed breakfast & dinner at the hotel throughout our 4 night stay. Breakfast was good as were dinners. Bar menu was more varied in the bar than the dining restaurant but it was possible to select from both menus. Overall quality was good. We were made to feel welcome by all the staff.

Definitely the best hotel we stayed in during our two week trip around Scotland. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, with whom we were able to arrange in advance all the issues with late check-in, accommodation, lunch etc. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent food, very cozy atmosphere of a renovated hotel that has retained hovewer the atmosphere of the old inn. The hotel is located next to a river, which is good for walking with your dog. Inverness can be reached in 25 minutes by car.
