The place is at the best location, the hosts are really nice, it was clean and cosy. Best food!

The on-site tavern with home made local food specialties is a must-try. Great location for exploring the nearby beaches. Located within walking distance to a small grocery store and to taverns in the main “square” of Kerames .

As returning visitors to Giorgos & Maria, we were delighted to be back. A quick trip at the end of last season had us staying elsewhere and ‘elsewhere’ is not as good! On this visit we chose one of the first-floor apartments - very similar to those on the ground floor, but with an elevated view and a slightly more private balcony. As always, the hospitality from our hosts made us feel welcome right from the start; friendly, full of advice and local knowledge and always happy to help in any way they can. Equally, if you just want to be left to your own devices, they sense this and you’ll hardly know they’re around… apart for the immaculately serviced rooms and the smells coming from Maria’s kitchen. Speaking of Maria’s kitchen: if you’re lucky enough to be invited to dine on their homemade food, usually served on the patio, think hard before turning it down. Maria is famous for her moussaka, fish and beef stifado. When we were there, an evening meal with salads, breads, a main course, beers and after-dinner fruit & raki (lots) was nicer, and cheaper, than many of the surrounding restaurants. Overall, our stay with Giorgos & Maria was exactly what we needed, the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended - thank you both.

Staying at Anatolika Beach Cottage East of Preveli Villas was basically magical. The place is calm and beautiful! The cottage is awesome—well designed, comfortable and blends perfectly with the nature around it. Waking up there, with the light sneaking in and the sea just a stone throw away. The location is exceptional—secluded enough to feel like your own private escape, yet perfectly positioned to explore the wild beauty of southern Crete. The proximity to Preveli and the surrounding beaches makes it ideal for those who appreciate both nature and tranquility. What truly elevates the stay, however, is the care and hospitality behind it. There is a genuine warmth and thoughtfulness that comes through in every interaction, making you feel not just welcome, but truly looked after. This is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect, to breathe, and to experience Crete in its most authentic and beautiful form. I left already wanting to return.

An excellent place to stay in a charming, quiet village. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had everything to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

The location and the villa were fantastic. Eleni was the best host. She offered us meals and cakes because we arrived late and the taverns closed. She gave us ice because we needed for my daughter's broken leg. The villa has everything you want. The living room and the kitchen are on the ground floor, and a toilet. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and another bathroom. The view from the villa is magnificent, and the pool and the sea are like heaven. We recommend the villa to everyone who wants to relax and have a beautiful vacation.

The property had beautiful view to the mountains and the sea, all the things that you might need for a stay. Also the owner is very much caring. Very calm place. Close to the beaches with a car, good tavernas around.

Taki and Anna's little house was in a perfect peaceful location among the olive trees, close to the mountains and the beach! It was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. The hammock in the garden overlooking the mountain is a win, and the outside table is so great for breakfast in the sun. Everything was squeaky clean! It is not a luxury hotel, but we loved it for its rustic charm.

The completely new and extremely well built Villa was a blessing. The enormous terrace with private pool had breathtaking views over the ocean and mountains. Beds and equipment all high standard. One of our best finds in Greece this far!

Secluded and built to a high standard

The room was even better than it pictures, spotless clean with a gorgeous view over the near mountains. Great location if you are seeking calm and quiet, with just a bare 10mins drive to Skinaria beach (a true paradise), preveli beach, kourtaliotiko gorge... Also very close to amazing taverna Despina where you'll get to eat the softest veal in tomato sauce you'll ever find. Personel was very helpful, kind and agreable. Also the room is stuck to the owner's market which is super convenient ! Loved it, cannot recommend enough

The house was very beautiful and cozy. It looks like recently renovated as everything was new and super clean. We had a great time and saw several beaches in the area. Probably the most well equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental! Next time we will book more days.

Very nice, large, clean, comfortable, stylish apartment in a small town where you can eat and drink something good. There is also a shop that meets the most important needs. Very nice, helpful host. Beautiful beaches, especially Ammoudi beach and the Chyma So Kyma taverna offering very good local food at good prices and a relaxing atmosphere. If you have a car, there is a lot to see in the area. All in all, a very successful holiday.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, fantastic lay-out, really well-equipped kitchen and a spectacular roof terrace. The outdoor space offered a fantastic to area relax, with a fabulous hot tub that was used for many hours during our stay. Lovely views too! Our host was super helpful and quick to respond to any question we had for him and had some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.
