Accommodation in Gythio

Good location in Gytheio, easy walking distance to the sea, shops, and restaurants. Nice view from the balcony. Comfortable bed and pillows of two different firmness. Large breakfast buffet with many options. They went above and beyond in providing a couple of extra gluten free options when we told them in advance that my partner had a gluten allergy.

Our second time at this lovely hotel. Excellent dinner menu. First morning breakfast was disappointing as there was no hot food. Guess because they had just opened for the season but nobody mentioned it. Staff still excellent and beyond helpful. Thanks

I stayed there to visit Mani in early October. 1. The view from the balcony is breath-taking, I suppose all the rooms have balconies that face directly east toward the sea. Every morning I opened the balcony door, I was like "WOW", super super stunning, the sea, the ship, the town, everything was like a dream. 2. There was a small safe in the room to keep valuable stuff. This was good. 3. The average price for a double room per night in October was about 42 euro. With other things considered, the price was good. 4. The hotel had no private parking, BUT it was generally easy to find a free parking spot, no problem at all, for example, you can park the car in the following two area. 36.759733377727514, 22.566512315528726 and 36.757486133126726, 22.569510825771637. You can check the spots on google map. 5. The room is not spacious but ok.

What i have to say…. This building is truly beautyfull in every aspect. Location in the middle of the olive trees Room was clean and very fresh vibe of greece Staff are very helpfull Bfast presented was top notch Room cleaned everyday. One of the most beautiful and welcoming hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We felt so comfortable and at home that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay. Lyra and her team are incredibly friendly, helpful, and warm-hearted, and Ramona makes the best cakes for breakfast. We will definitely come back and can only recommend everyone to stay here!

Everything was great! Accomodation is excellent located just on very nice beach. Very comfortable, specious and quite place for relaxing. Don’t miss early morning beach expirience!

Peaceful location, smart and enviro friendly concept (incl. cows on the beach occasionally haha), highly attentive and friendly staff, all in all superb experience!

Really exellent place to stay. It shows owners are doing this with hard passion. They were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with home prepered local foods that owner made herself. Every day something different but clasic also. Pool area is great, clean, big and safe for small children. There also is a playground for children and outside gym. Location is only 2min from the beach. Beautiful surroundings and very nice yard with green grass. Rooms were all you need with nice kitchen and two bathrooms. Whole house has 3 ACs so no matter how hot it is outside you can always stay fresh and have a perfect sleep. We recomend it strongly and honestly. More days you spend there the more you want. We were there for 4 days and we wish we could stay longer.

I don’t even know where to start… To begin with, if you’re wondering whether you should book your stay here — just do it! You’ll absolutely love it. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. The house we stayed in was extremely clean, spacious, and modern, with everything we could possibly need. The garden, the terrace — everything is beautifully maintained with a lot of care and dedication. The location is quiet and peaceful, with a beach nearby, and the town of Gytheio is very close and absolutely charming. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and varied. There was something for every taste, and despite the small number of guests, there was a wonderful variety of food, including delicious homemade jams. Once again, we felt completely at home. A very special thank you to our hosts and their daughter — they are such wonderful, kind, and genuinely cool people! We became friends with them very quickly. Without exaggerating, this was our most enjoyable stay in Greece, with the coolest hosts! We’re looking forward to welcoming you in Sofia! 😉

We liked everything! Beautifully restored old stone buildings on a hill with a marvellous view. We stayed in two different rooms (because we left and then came back after a few days), and both were equally nice. The family and the staff were very friendly and kind. For example did they bring us water when we were outside, and towels when we had had a swim in the pool. The food was very good! The surroundings are also very interesting.

Where to begin... everything. The rooms are so cosy, the view is beautiful (on olive trees and sea). The owner is amazing (we had a flat tire, and she helped). Every morning, she would ask us where we were going and give us some recommendations. They have a big parking in front, with the beautiful backyard. At night the place is so peaceful and you can see the stars clearly. Around the apartment, there is a nice STILVI cafe, which I believe is also part of the family business, and there are nice breakfast options. In close proximity, there are also a few tavernas. The sea is only a few minutes away.

The location, the breathtaking view from the room & the delicious breakfast!

Perfect property in the hills behind Gythio an area that’s worthy of time spent there to explore the region and enjoy the sea and beaches. It’s a new building / we had a very well designed apartment which boasted a double bedroom, super bathroom with walk in shower and bonus washing machine! A living room-kitchen and an area with can be shut off for privacy with sliding doors which housed 2 divans which can be made up into well sized single beds : a small terrace with a table and chairs was another bonus. The area is quiet and provides on site parking. Our host was charming and supplied a list of things to do and see in the area along with suggestions for restaurants and groceries stores. It’s a short 5 minute walk to 2 very good traditional tavernas which are highly recommend (but go early or book to avoid disappointment especially on Tuesday when one is closed!)

Friendly and welcoming staff, always on disposal and eager to help. Brand new Hotel, modern and cleverly furnished. Smart TV, internet, Aircon. Comfy beads, clean and tidy room. Located on the hill with wonderful view to Laconian Gulf. Proximity of both Mavrovouni Beach and Gytheio town by foot and great base for further discovery of that part of Peloponnese.
