If you have a rental car and want authentic Greek culture this is the place. Quiet small community where you can feel part of it at the local restaurant. The room had a terrace overlooking the ocean perfect to relax. Great sights to visit nearby without the hordes of tourists. And oranges to eat that are to die for. And then there is George the host. Wonderful. He even got his tools and helped fix our rental car that had. small issue that needed repair.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Pandera areopoli offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi.

A hidden gem just outside of Monemavasia. The suites are very modern and luxurious. All of the staff are so attentive and friendly and think of every little detail including water at the pool and a welcome dessert. One of my favourites stays so far.

Situated in such a beautiful location, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We felt like in our own little ancient stone castle, but with a modern touch. We had a very pleasant stay at Lykourgou 10. The host, Mike was extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with, and spoke excellent English, which made everything smooth from check-in to local advice. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The balcony is a real plus and a lovely place to relax. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet it’s a great base for visiting the historical sites of Sparta and Mystras. We also really appreciated the good restaurant recommendations we received—they made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. Thank you for having us!
