This property is more than simply a farm stay. Our hosts were so warm, welcoming and passionate about show casing the traditional Cretan way of life. The property was superb and had everything we could have wanted. The location in a secluded mountain valley with a working farm was superb.

What an amazing place for relaxing and forgetting the world exists, would reccommend this hidden gem to everyone, location is amazing, a 7 minute walk to the most beautiful lake, a taverna with fabulous cuisine right on the doorstep. We will be back in September.

The apartment was the highest quality of all places we stayed in Crete and even in general when we traveled around the europe. There was everything we needed there and more. Everything looked new, modern, clean. The hosts were friendly. The view (mountains ahead) from enormous balcony was stunning and it was a pleasure to eat breakfasts or dinners there.

As everyone else says, very good breakfast, Great location and staff. Zaros is a great place for exploring nearby areas for a few days if you like hiking and history and want to stay a bit away from the busier spots

Breakfast was good ,but must be made clear it is optional, as paid on booking .com and was not clear that breakfast was to be paid for at hotel as extra , felt very awkward at end of stay being asked to pay for breakfast before leaving , if known could have also enjoyed breakfast in fabulous village cafe ,

Wonderful and unique stay. The hosts gave their 100% and were so nice. We got to feed the animals at the farm and hold a 2 week old baby sheep. The room was clean and spacious. It was even better than we thought and would definitely recommend. There was ac and wifi in the room. A donkey sanctuary near-by💖

This was one of the best hotel experiences of our lives. I cannot recommend staying here enough. It was a magical place, and we felt so welcome! So beautiful, and the breakfast far exceeded our expectations. The animals were lovely, and everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

La Maison Bleue is an amazing house with a beautiful garden. It is a gift to yourself to stay at this place. Full of serenity and beauty, you will feel connected with the Cretan landscape. The host was super polite and helpful, they even offered me daily treats fresh from the garden and amazingly cooked Cretan recipes.

Great and interesting location with very well kept gardens. Friendly staff in all areas. The Idi Restaurant was exceptionally good, great food and excellent value for money. Hotel agreed to our 2 small dogs staying too providing us with a family room with extra outdoor space. Local walks and outdoor areas made our stay a great success.

This is by far the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in, and we have a lot of experience of rental apartments. Everything we needed was there and much besides. The decor was very tasteful. There were two large balconies with views to the mountains.The host Michalis could not have been more helpful.
