We had a lovely stay at Jou Trekking Guesthouse in Senaru. It is a simple, peaceful and genuine place, surrounded by beautiful nature, mountain views and the calm atmosphere of the village. New build Guesthouse! Big room, perfect AC, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with perfect shower. Shampoo/soap included. Beautiful terrace in feont of each room. Big common area with two tables for eating or just sitting! Breakfast is included and they welcome you with a tasty fruitdrink. They can make you food if you wish so! The people at the guesthouse were very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. Before and during our stay, they helped us with practical things such as arranging transport from Kuta (350 000 IDR) and giving advice about what to do in the village. Everything felt relaxed and personal. The guesthouse was a good base for exploring the waterfalls (aprox 20 min to gate 2 ), walking around the village and experiencing the Rinjani area. It is not a luxury hotel, but it has exactly the kind of local charm and warmth that makes a stay memorable!
