Accommodation in Mullingar

The hotel had excellent size rooms, was very clean,had old world charm and the staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was a bother to them - very quick to find solutions to any problems!! I’d also like to mention that the staff in Berty’s Bar were also excellent and it was a pleasure to go there for dinner and/or drinks!!

I visit Mullingar for work and this was my first time staying at Greville. So impressed. A nice warm feeling to the hotel. The fact the Christmas decorations were going up probably added to that. The room was great and the Tunnocks Teacakes were a brilliant touch, the bed was comfy, the staff were really friendly and I decided to eat in the bar where I had a really nice meal with attentive staff. Finally I had breakfast which was included. Food was really good. Plenty of choice and staff again were excellent.

The room was very clean and neat. I was a solo traveler and they took good care of me and I felt safe and secure staying alone. The hotel is close to all the nearby attraction.

I love the location . It was near to where we needed to go and the alpacas were very cute. The cabin itself was beautiful also.

Fantastic apartment to spend a few days in Mullingar. Spacious, well furnished, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Just a few minytes walk outside the town. Edel was a great host. Highly recommend

A stunning Georgian Home, rich in details and care

Boomerang,I keep coming back to river cottage as it is exactly what I want. Location,peace and tranquillity,warm and tidy off road parking. Host lady is helpful and accommodating. Now i know why this place won awards centre of excellence in every aspect

Exceptional welcome, host was very kind man and also goes the extra step, small and simple things other forms of accommodation wouldn’t pick up on like a variety of snacks as well as tinned cocktails, every form of pillow you’d need for a ‘bespoke’ sleep and a bedside fan which is important during the recent and forthcoming heatwaves. Attention to detail is important and Dermot has nailed it.

We stayed for a family wedding in Mullingar and it was a great base for a group. Good location being a minute's walk to Aldi and close to town. Very spacious with everything you'd need. Hosts were really helpful and responsive when we needed them. Would recommend and use again for sure 😊
