Beautiful place to stay. Very nice staff very helpful. Incredible sunrise view from the rooms. A short walk to beautiful temple. Highly recommend.

Location and room view was excellent, staff was courteous. Although shortage of LPG the hotel staff ensured dinner and breakfast was made available to the guest.Food served was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Certainly recommend for family stay.

Everything is just amazing! The location is the highlight of this stay. Be sure you get up early to see the great white Himalayan range just behind the hotel. The dogs Julie, Mickey and the big boy Bhaalu are just adorable. Simple things like the quality of Air, Water and the radiant sun just heighten the experience. The food is served in the thick brass utensils which give a very village vibe which i loved. Also, they made me a halwa instead of a cake which was a welcome change. The host- an authentic, warm, and considerate gentleman- Bhupendra runs this small but pleasing little Homestay nestled on the side of a hill just outside almora. Almora is a hub but to actually absorb the local feeling and peace here this is the location- you will also get th view you’re looking for, weather permitting. The food is homely and often in a high quantity too- often enough to keep you running for a day The room has all you would need. I’d just comment- as a westerner- that the shower isn’t working but in this area I’m sure most would be fine with th alternative anyway. It seems like it will be fixed soon regardless. His niece is the cook in question and although I’ve forgotten her name credit to her! This is a genuinely very high-standard Homestay (including by euro standards) in a small settlement outside of the main attraction. I strongly suspect it’ll grow in popularity very quickly.

This is the best kept secret in town. This homestay is a short walk from the main street but as it is just behind the rim of the ridge it is quiet and tranquil with beautiful mountain views and bird song. You will need to be able to walk a set of steep stairs. The darkness a previous reviewer mentioned is easily managed with a torch: the whole town is dark at night anyway. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The food they cooked for us was delicious. The shower is hot, the windows open for fresh mountain air. The rooftop terrace is a delight all day.

Everything was perfect, the vibe is so pure

They accept foreigners. It is located in a peaceful and quiet location on the hill side. The room had a little kitchenette, and as we were there for a few days, we were able to cook our own meals. The room had big windows and a nice balcony with chairs to sit and enjoy nature. It had good wifi. The room had some carpets on the floor, making it warmer for our feet in winter and an ultra thick blanket. On the main roads there are many trendy and fancy cafes and restaurants with cute souvenirs and modern shops. You can get food essential at a nearby corner store.

Zenoaks Farm Stay - A Hidden Gem in Binsar Nestled on a hill in the serene environs of Binsar near Almora, Zenoaks Farm Stay offers a magical retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil getaway. My week-long stay here was nothing short of extraordinary. Arrival and First Impressions We arrived late at night and were greeted by Manoj, the warm and ever-smiling host, who met us with a torch at the base of the hill. Accompanying him was Vishal, a young bellboy who effortlessly carried our luggage up the 300-meter climb while I struggled to catch my breath. The path, illuminated only by the torchlight, led to a magical sight: the farm stay glowing with string lights and a warm cup of hot chocolate awaiting us. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with the rustic kitchen area with its simple shed and cozy seating, set the tone for our stay. Accommodation We stayed in a charming cottage, a simple yet comfortable structure made of wood and mud. The room was spacious, well-insulated against the cold, and included two double cots, a single cot, and a firewood place. The highlight was the breathtaking view of the majestic Trishul and Nanda Parbat mountain ranges, visible right from the cottage. Cleanliness and ample bedding made it one of the coziest places I’ve stayed at. Food and Dining The dining experience was a standout. On our first night, Manoj—doubling as a chef due to his chef’s absence—whipped up a delicious meal in just 15 minutes. The menu offered delightful options like aloo parantha, aloo pyaaz parantha, and sandwiches, all prepared using fresh ingredients from the farm. The tea, made with farm-fresh milk and premium tea leaves, was heavenly. A conversation with Manoj about Kumaoni cuisine left me eager to try a traditional meal. Adding to the experience, I got to sample fresh fruits like apples, bananas, and kiwis straight from the farm.

There is nothing which I can say i like it.
