The host was very helpful. Once I had done the booking he called me and gave me all the details before my arrival. I was traveling solo and he really was accommodating. I even had a scenario where I was stuck with an auto driver and he couldn't understand English, I called the host and he helped me to speak and sort it out. He also arranged cabs which are cheaper than airport cabs. The location is walkable to all places. It's just that some auto drivers are not sure of this place just get some landmarks and it would be fine. The room is nice for one person if you have big luggage. Overall it was a good experience.

Shiv Shakti is a unique and peaceful location outside the hustle and bustle of Tapovan/ Rishikesh. The staff are all very helpful and the home cooked vegetarian food really good. The daily yoga practice was a great way to start the day and the constant sound of running water in the nearby waterfalls very relaxing.
