Easy late check in, couldn't do laundry after a certain time (around 5-6pm) so worth knowing if anyone was planning on that. Comfy beds, good common room with lots of games. We were there in April so no gigs or anything on

I absolutely loved the apartment! It is located on a cliff in a quiet place. Yes you have neighbours but you will only see/hear them at the front of the house. The backside looks out over the sea. Great spot to see the northern lights. As with many apartments you don't see the host throughout your stay. I like that. Your door opens with a code. All basic necessities can be found in the kitchen, also a series of books to read and a telescope to watch the stars or birds, boats at sea. The apartment is very spacious with many places to sit. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night. I would love to come back and stay for a week and settle on the couch with a book :-)

Such a lovely little house, full of character and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for 4 people and a great base on Snæfellsnes. Loved it.

Everything was perfect. First, the kitchen was absolutely neat and ordered. It was like a home's one. Also the staff was so kind. And the location is the center of Olafsvik. The laundry fee was so cheap in spite of very good laundry machine. I've never washed my laundry by hot water except here. And I could dry my laundry about 2 hours. Even I could use it for free because the card reader was out of order. They could ask me to pay by cash. (Of course, I didn't have any cash during stay in Iceland.) All things seemed to be considered for guests. And very fortunately I stayed alone in a 8-beds room. The day I stayed was seemd that guest was just me. Regardless of that, the staff did her best. Thank u so much. I really hope the guesthouse will be crowded by so many guests. Because when I visit Iceland again, I will definitely stay there again. I felt it was kind of my hometown. I stayed in Helisandur on the next day(yesterday) and I am leaving from Iceland today. I am very sorry I can't stay more there. Thank you so much. The guesthouse should be prospered.

The rooms are really nice, but if there are other guests you need to share kitchen and bathroom with them.
