Amazing location, villa, apartment. The best place in our 12 day trip, and one of the best apartment I've ever stayed at. Immaculate cleanliness, good space, very nice bathroom and toiletries, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and everything needed to cook. We had an amazing stay at Laxhus. The rural location was perfect for us, an oasis of serenity after a busy and exhausting day’s sightseeing. We loved watching the sheep and lambs, as well as the stunning sunsets and vista from the accommodation. Everything about the property was perfect.

Super convenient location with the harbour and most locations in Husavik within easy walking distance, the room was very spacious for 3 adults and beds were super comfy. This accommodation is more B&B style with multiple rooms within a house, shared bathrooms were clean and we didn't have any issues with availability in the morning or evening. I would stay here again.

We were so excited about the accomodation! Everything was perfect, clean, the location of this accomodation was great and what more - lovely owners who would come to you to say a few words with you! 😊 The only thing we regret, that we couldn’t stay for more days, as we were doing a road trip. 😊

We were looking for a place to stay that would be close enough to the city and at the same time far enough away from the city lights to be able to observe the northern lights. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything you need even for a multi-day stay.

Great place in a remote area. Good stopping point while doing the ring road trip. Godafoss Waterfall literally right across the street. We could hear it from the hotel. Great on-site restaurant. Our double room w/terrace was generous in size. The heated floors were excellent! Older style accommodations were quaint.
