We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would be delighted to return in the future. The location is excellent, offering convenient walking access to numerous fine restaurants and a supermarket. The picturesque snowy scenery of Biei is truly enchanting; you'll awaken to a beautiful blanket of snow surrounding the house. The house itself is comfortably warm, even in sub-zero temperatures, with the exception of the toilet area, which tends to be consistently cool.

Pension Ken & Mary's hosts are absolutely wonderful people, kind, welcoming and extremely helpful in every possible way. We stayed for 4 nights to go skitouring in the area since it's perfectly located in between Asahidake, Furano and Horokanai. Every afternoon we felt like coming home, can't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!!

The location was excellent. It is away from the madding crowd but not so far that it is inconvenient. I love the tranquil setting. To hear the leaves rustling in the wind, birds chirping and to see the rolling hills every day is a real joy. I strongly recommend having a dinner at Adagio- the meals are lovingly and expertly prepared. I stayed there for 5 days and would be happy to stay on for another 5!

Very exclusive accommodation, owned and managed by a family in a private land with 3 exclusive wood houses. We stayed there for 2 nights in the winter and the view is just amazing.
