Accommodation in Hokuto

The Onsen set up is lovely, the newly renovated rooms are very nice, the staff are extremely helpful, there is drinks and some snacks offered in lobby seating area before dinner and then at supper/9pm which we loved, you need a car if you want to explore the area which is really beautiful, we didn’t have breakfast or dinner as felt it was a bit pricey but it smelt and looked amazing instead we loved exploring small local country eat places 😊

Everything is nice but the light bulb at the door entrance is not working. Breakfast also is nice.

It’s a unique way of taking a break in nature. The crates are well thought out and the outdoor bath a fantastic feature to relax with. It’s great to see tourism come to Yamanashi.

A beautiful ryokan with very friendly and attentive staff. A stunning building featuring several works of art and a fantastic onsen.

We loved the food, both delicious and nice presentation. Our dog had a great time and could enjoy a nice dog run. Very friendly hotel owner. We could also enjoy billiards and table tennis. The area has a lot to offer, some great hikes, onsens and cozy restaurants.

Very nice experience in this special 'cabin in the woods' type of hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking, and excellent food and drinks. We're foodies and were impressed by the quality of the food and the winelist with lots of wines from Yamanashi Prefecture.

There is everything to like here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The meals in the restaurant next door (same complex) were wonderful. The slow cooked beef was the best steak dish I have had in Japan. The staff here were also professional and friendly. English was no problem. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Lovely hotel off the beaten path. It is an amazing place if you want to get out of a city and are looking for a cozy, quaint place to rest. The owners are incredibly kind and lovely. They greeted us, recommended places to eat, helped with travel plans, and had a lovely conversation with us over breakfast. This hotel was wonderful. 10/10, can highly recommend.

Amazing view and very friendly proprietor. We saw a bit of Mt Fuji from our balcony too!

This place is near fujimi panorama so if you want to MTB is perfect . You have a very nice onsen at walking distance. The lodge has a pure authentic spirit of the mountain. BUT specifically it has is host Junpei who is the nicest person of the world, will help you you everything, drive you to locations and guide you. Stay at ILA! :)

The interior of the house was so nice. Atmosphere was good and it was the best place to retreat, away from all daily noisy stuff. I was greatly refreshed after staying here. Mika and Paul were good and comfortable owners to stay with. Their hospitality was excellent. Thank you for everything you offered!!!

It’s a big house which easily fits large families. Situated in an upcoming area this rental is close to trendy coffee shops and restaurants, but also to hiking trails, waterfalls and the Fujimi bikepark.The accessories are complete, basically everything you need is there. Also if you do your own cooking.
