Accommodation in Noto

It was a long drive up the Noto Peninsula and we had to drive along a narrow road through a short stretch of forest before we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful facade of the hotel. The entire stay was a pampering experience. The view from the room was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared and served in private rooms. We had a 50 min private bath which was extremely soothing. There were small zen gardens, libraries in a corner, and cupboards full of yukatas of different colors and designs. These were very pleasant to the eyes. I also liked how courteous and attentive the hotel staff were.

Loved the location, perfect for a slow holiday. Host was very accommodating and provided enough privacy even though it was a guesthouse. I enjoyed the design of the rooms and the easy access to the beautiful view of the Noto sea.

We arrived at 1.30 while check in time at 3. At first, the staff doesn't let us early checkin, we waiting. But then other staff which also a chef let us in early, warmly greeted and explain all the facilities. They show us the garage even another level since we came by bycycle and supersafely keep there. Plus we got very convenience bed part in shared dorm. Other guests came later than us and overall stay such a pleasant. We know that wajima has lil bit "waking up phase" but surprise we were there on sunday n everything(resto, attractions) close early like at 5 n 7pm. So quiet area. Glad that they have their own ramen resto we finally had dinner on. Familymart nearby as 1.3km.

Absolutely beautiful location and amazingly hospitality from the host. The host cooks up a homemade Japanese style breakfast each morning with local in season fish and vegetables, so tasty! Notojima is a sleepy little fishing island with a few tourist attractions. One being the Notojima Aquarium, which is only a 23min walk from the guesthouse or the Glass museum which is only and 8 min walk away. Also the Cafe next door is very tasty, many dishes show casing the Noto beef or the region.
