The location is food . Hotel staff very nice and friendly . The bicycle really helps a lot for sightseeing around the city .

The guesthouse is very close to Nakamura JR station and walk around 5-8 minutes from the station. The onsen facilities are excellent. The common area is tidy for relax. Various types welcome drinks are provided at free and the bread provided at the breakfast time is nice. The room size is moderate and I feel cozy to stay there.

Beautiful traditional house, with some lovely design touches and a very well equipped kitchen with delicious coffee and tea available. We enjoyed a wander down to the river and submersible bridge, and took a Canadian canoe onto the river - very relaxing, with stunning scenery. Kenji was an excellent host; helpful, informative and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here - we found it a very calming place and enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely.

The location is excellent, just 6-minute walk from JR Nakamura Station. The room is not very spacious but it is clean & comfortable. The staff are friendly. The hotel price is reasonable with a nice breakfast and public bath facilities.

The bicycle rental was great because I got to cycle along the river with it!

We have stayed at 10 different locations during our family trip in Shikoku. This is clearly the best ! Splendid traditional house, generous host who booked the best kaiseki and shared precious tourism advices on the area.

Beautiful location by the river. Great kitchen for cooking. The wooden deck is lovely to sit out on. Very clean and comfortable.

Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed at in Japan! A 130 year old house redone with great attention to detail. Extremely comfortable. Away from the hustle and bustle of cities and towns. Would have liked to stay longer!

Very comfortable and well equipped house.

Beautiful home in quiet area of Shimanto, just a few minutes from the river! We didn’t have a car but had bicycles, which took us about 50 minutes from the city and closest shops! The owners were very responsive on message and made for a completely hassle free stay!
