Accommodation in Toyooka

Room was spacious and cozy. Half boarded was worth it, as their food provided was a lot of choices, well prepared and delicious. There were both inside and outdoor onsens. Transfer bus provided to take you to enjoy famous in-town onsens (¥90)with free pass to enter those onsens and also give you a free ride to the station which is 5 min away drive.

For our first trip to Japan we loved the clean quiet location of the hotel and the staff were amazing in helping us navigate the new surroundings. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Everything, this is definitely not a 2* star hotel, more like a 4*. Staff were extremely friendly, awesome room sizes, great breakfast and dinner, super clean areas, great facilities and super close to the station. I couldn't be happier with this stay, wish we booked 2 more days.

New Renovated Hotel, clean and comfort

The staff was very welcoming. The included breakfast was a great deal as most of the restaurants open at 10am and they serve breakfast here from 8.30am - 10am. The room is huge - especially compared to typical hotel room in Japan. I also loved that they provided a bag with towel for the onsen along with traditional japanese clothing and shoes. Such a nice touch.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The staff was incredibly professional and spoke excellent English — something you don’t often find in Japan. The hotel itself is brand new, and the common areas are beautiful: spacious, stylish, and perfectly maintained. The overall mood and atmosphere of the hotel are spotless and serene. For those arriving by car, there’s a large free parking area, which is another great plus (and not so common in Japan). We arrived late in the evening, and the staff welcomed us warmly and were very attentive and kind throughout our stay. Our room was simply perfect — the most spacious one we had during our entire trip in Japan. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The bathroom was large and well designed, with separate areas for the shower and toilet. The sink was placed in the entrance area, but that didn’t bother us at all — it was actually quite convenient. We were genuinely sad to stay only one night. Next time, we’ll definitely plan to stay a few more days to explore the area and enjoy another relaxing stay at this wonderful hotel.

The place is very clean and comfortable; it feels very homey. The owners/personnel are very warm and accommodating, too. The train station is nearby, and so are restaurants and convenience stores. I will definitely stay here again once I'm back in Toyooka!

This hotel is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. The suites are well designed and comfortable for families and solo travellers alike. It gives the feel of a traditional ryokan with modern amenities. Staff are helpful and responsive and they helped me plan day trips around Toyooka. It's a great place to stay if you want to spend time in Kinosakionsen. I stayed there for a week.

The most aesthetic hotel I've stayed in. Old classic vibes without the smell that usually accompanies older buildings, and the bathrooms are well updated. Staff was very kind. I initially peeked into some of the communal rooms from the outside in the main hall out of curiosity. The staff turned on the lights and said I could go inside to look more closely. The lounge was nice and had free drinks (alcoholic and a few non alcoholic). The room itself was nice and spacious. The key was an interesting touch (old style metal key) and made me feel like I was in some game.

A traditional house that had everything we needed. Our host had warmed the place for us on arrival and even baked us a cake! Such a wonderful experience

The friendly welcoming staff who took us on a tour of the attached movie theatre. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in so far. The unique character and charm of the screening room.

Fantastic house, so personal and warm. Good location, the whole town is within walking distance. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming, making sure we had all we needed for onsen visits. Highly recommended.
