Accommodation in Uno

This Inn is perfectly located if you want to travel to the Art Island, right next to the pier. Also the staff was great and welcoming and they had a really great coffee all day long. Nice touch - the photo of you they can do and send you later via email as a reminder of a great time. Definitely can recommend.

The best hostel experience I've ever had. -The shared bathrooms were so clean and had everything you need (shampoo, conditioner, hairdrier, towels) They were also so roomy and pretty. -The staff was so welcoming and helpful! Since my room was right next to the air purifyer (which was kinda loud during the night) I kindly asked them if they could put it on silent mode and she was so understanding and did so! - I stayed for two nights and I was provided with a new set of towels,pyjamas and slippers. Also when returning from a long day at Naoshima it's so nice to come back to a cleaned room:D - The hotel is also not even 5 mins away from the ferries and the main station. Very convenient for sure:)!!! -They also give you a free pass to use their onsen and in the shared kitchen there's tea, snacks, and water. So comfy.

I like everything about this hotel, but especially the location and the view. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the station, so it’s a bit quieter, which I prefer. You can see the sea and race track from all rooms :-)

Stay at Yota’s house is truly a highlight of our trip, we are recommending it to all of our friends, so there will be more guests from Lithuania coming your way! Unique house feels like an immersive gallery, and Yota’s cooking is next level! One of our favorite meals during the trip! Definitely a great place to stay at when exploring the art islands.

Tentoumi was an incredible spot, and well worth a visit. Having breakfast while surrounded by dragonflies, watching fish leap and eagles fishing in the bay in front of us was priceless. The sea was warm and the cove protected so swimming felt safe. The BBQ dinners were fabulous and the sukiyaki was Oishi 😋. Tsukasa, Shida and Mio were wonderful and helpful hosts. Kojima town for its history of Jeans making in Japan and shopping on "Kojima Jeans Street" is worth a trip, as is the famous Naoshima art island.

Close to ferry and train stations, thoughtfully designed and peaceful. Short walk to some great ramen, yakitori and coffee spots. A surprising little gem.

Helped procure the most amazing birthday cake for my daughter. We lived being in a house and it was the perfect stop after catching the 5pm ferry from Naoshima.

Wonderful traditional Japanese house with spacious rooms and the most friendly, helpful owner & family. They pick us up for the bus stop & we’re so kind to drive us again to the train station at check-out. A great experience!

Great place to stay in Tamano after returning from Naoshima, and perfect for an early departure the next morning to your next destination. Located just 600 meters from Uno Station and 400 meters from the ferry terminal. Modern property, with an excellent restaurant on the ground floor serving very good Japanese cuisine. Above all, the place is clean, the staff is extremely courteous, and the rooms are comfortable. Laundry facilities are available on the second floor.

Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

Great location near the port and JR station —very convenient. The standalone house was cosy, private, and well-equipped, making it a comfortable stay. many restaurants option neaby The neighbourhood is mostly quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend to stay here. value for money.

Extremely well positioned, just a short walk from the harbour, this is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Naoshima and Teshima. The room is minimal, but provides everything you need, including a mini bar. The bed is on the narrow side, but I still slept well. The place was exceptionally clean and felt almost brand new. Near the entrance, there is a common area with access to a kettle, microwave, iron and ironing board, and a hoover. Some reviews mention threatening-sounding emails, but these are simply reminders to complete the online registration form before arrival. The access codes are sent on the day of arrival and make self check-in very easy, even without staff present. I would happily stay here again.

The design! The place is beautiful!! Everything is well done. The playroom for kids was just perfect

Easy to find, although we had some problems opening the keybox at first. Everything was very clean and tidy, the beds very comfortable! In walking distance to the port for Naoshima and Teshima and a few good restaurants :)
