I immediately extended my stay because I felt so comfortable. The dorm has double beds and a lot of privacy. Fans and mosquito nets prevent you from getting stung during the night. The wooden house and lights create a peaceful atmosphere, the neighbourhood and hosts are lovely! Everything you need is close by (bycycle rental, laundry service etc.) und the hosts are very supportive with every question that might occur. :) AND the Mekong river sunsets in front of the door are absolutely amazing!! I loved this place. 🖤

The central location in the heart of the market was a lovely experience - being able to watch the locals going about their daily lives from the balcony and rooftop terrace was fascinating. The opportunity to stroll through the market and town was a highlight of our trip to Kratie. The rooms in the hotel were spotlessly clean and spacious. Alex was a great host and entertained us with his amusing stories as we chatted in the rooftop bar and restaurant. This is a lovely spot to watch the town at night and even if you’re not staying at Privada Lodge it’s well worth a visit.

This place is a good position. And family run. The rooms as all ok. Clean, and a/c working well. The price is amazing value. They also sell food and drinks. Scooter hire available. A good position to explore the area. The family make you feel so welcome, and can arrange trips and onward travel. Would recommend

We had a corner room with a balcony. Nice to get outside. Great having the swimming pool to cool off in . Really appreciated having the restaurant for meals & snacks with grandchildren who visited. The gym also provided fun & interest. Lovely helpful staff.

Very nice resort, in a nice environment with a great swimming pool. Very nice facility and a good spot to discover the island by bike.

Dary’s guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay. It’s a modern building constructed in 2023, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dary, is the kindest person you’ll ever meet. She goes above and beyond to make her guests happy. We had many fascinating conversations with her and learned a wealth of information about Cambodia, Kratie, and herself. I ate a couple of times at the guesthouse and the food is fresh and tastes very nice. The guesthouse is located a bit further away from the city center (15-30min). However, the walk along the Mekong is very pleasant. Alternatively, you can rent bikes at the guesthouse or order a TukTuk (around 2$).
