Accommodation in Daegu

The lobby and rooms are stunning. I had read reviews that people found it dated but maybe we stayed in newly rennovated rooms because our room was modern and beautiful. Loved the bath, loved the big comfortable bed and the decor. We ordered room service for a meal (kimchi fried rice I think) and it was large, delicious and presented beautifully. We were there to attend a show at the convention centre and it was just across the road, however there were also restaurants, shopping malls and cafes nearby to keep you busy. Highly recommend if you are in Daegu

I've booked a stay at Toyoko before (in Asakusa, Tokyo), and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in Daegu as well. It's not very far from the subway station (2-3 min walk), and it's an ideal location, since it's located in the downtown areas of Daegu (Banwoldang), making it easy for you to travel to other places by subway as well. As for the facilities, hotel room was nicely decorated, and they make the bed every day (I had one day where they changed the sheets, this depends on how long you stay). The hotel also offers you breakfast (which is a bit early for me (7-9 AM)), but I did enjoy their breakfast on two occasions. Staff was very kind and do speak English very well! Highly recommend Toyoko as they are very reliable, affordable, and professional!

It’s a fantastic accomodation with lovely hosts. Convenient location, close to metro station and many attractions. I would stay here again when I return to Daegu.

Very good bed, comfy, room is quiet, good breakfast, but I guess you have to be early, as I was coming slightly after 9 (breakfast is till 10) and they're starting to remove everything and not much food is left to choose from. The room was too warm and couldn't lower the temperature (control did nothing if you set the temperature at 22, and it was still staying at 26+). Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful interior of the lobby.

Very kind staff. There was no problem even though I checked in too late. Breakfast was very delicious. Korean food was prepared with Western food. And it was very easy to park.

Amazing location next to the subway station and very close to a bus stop, close enough even to walk into the city centre! Very helpful staff and nice to find somewhere so central with free parking.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hound Hotel DaeGu, Daemyung. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The building itself is brand new, so everything was in excellent condition—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, public transport and attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. It’s a great choice for comfort, service, and values.
