A very nice location by the beautiful lake, surrounded by forests, not far from one of the most touristic Latvian towns, Kuldiga. A large camping site with many wooden cottages scattered across the forest, with playgrounds, swings below the trees. You'll find every amenity you could want, with enough firewood provided for your fireplace inside or a BBQ (or bonfire) outside, as well as plenty of plates and kitchenware, a stove, fridge, and other appliances in every house. A sauna and jacuzzi for an additional price, which was quite affordable compared with many other places.

This is a place like no other. Comfortable? Not, unless you consider walking 100 meters, half of it knee deep in crystal water, to a proper toilet comfort. Amazing? Absolutely. With own soul.
