Dar Shâan is perfectly situated to explore the interesting city of Rabat. You are right inside the Medina with lots of nice eateries, cafes and small shops but as well close to all the sights, city centre, tram stops. The welcome to the Dar was extremely friendly. The Dar itself is gorgeous, very well maintained and immaculately clean. My room was very comfy and in my bed I slept like in heaven. I did not use the pool on the roof but this is a nice bonus, very much so for kids. I loved it that there were wonderful books available and sitting outside my room and looking at those books was great. Breakfast was fantastic. It was allegedly served from 8:00 am. On the day of my departure I sneaked to the breakfast room at 7:30 in the hope to grab a quick coffee as I had to leave early for my train - and the whole breakfast was already served! That was so lovely. The nice woman even hurried to pour me fresh orange juice. The entire staff was just wonderful and so, so nice. Every night they brought me a glass of tasty Moroccan white wine up to my room on the top floor. I would defo recommend staying at Dar Shâan while visiting Rabat.

It was way more than we expected. The room service was on point and the breakfast was super super good!! The staff was very helpful, helped us getting through the city and even accepted to wash our clothes, which was very nice. The rias is located near the Bab El Had parking which was perfect and not to expensive. Most of all, the riad was very quiet, and we slept very well.

Ms Narjiss and her husband, Abba, who run the riad, have found that very delicate balance of providing excellent hospitality without ever being intrusive. Their constant availability, warmth, the quality of their advice, and the support they offered - also through their help in arranging and facilitating anything I needed - exceeded all expectations. They made my stay unique and unforgettable, enhancing my entire travel experience. From now on, Riad Narjiss will be my go-to place for any business trip to Rabat.
