Stayed on the roof top terrace - was nice , clean and quiet. They were also flexible in adjusting the booking date when I booked the wrong dates. Highly recommend

Speaking both Arabic and English, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. Dar Shâan is perfectly situated to explore the interesting city of Rabat. You are right inside the Medina with lots of nice eateries, cafes and small shops but as well close to all the sights, city centre, tram stops. The welcome to the Dar was extremely friendly. The Dar itself is gorgeous, very well maintained and immaculately clean. My room was very comfy and in my bed I slept like in heaven. I did not use the pool on the roof but this is a nice bonus, very much so for kids. I loved it that there were wonderful books available and sitting outside my room and looking at those books was great. Breakfast was fantastic. It was allegedly served from 8:00 am. On the day of my departure I sneaked to the breakfast room at 7:30 in the hope to grab a quick coffee as I had to leave early for my train - and the whole breakfast was already served! That was so lovely. The nice woman even hurried to pour me fresh orange juice. The entire staff was just wonderful and so, so nice. Every night they brought me a glass of tasty Moroccan white wine up to my room on the top floor. I would defo recommend staying at Dar Shâan while visiting Rabat.

I arrived early after 12pm but Miriem offered me the Moroccan tee and allowed me to check in early - much apprecaited! Located in a central but quiet area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole Ryad is elegantly decorated, staying there has been a very pleasant experience.

Neat and clean property well situated, extremely courteous staff well mannered and followed all the requirements

A daily breakfast is served in one of the Riad’s Moroccan lounges or on the terrace. With its central location on Mohamed V Avenue, the hotel is not far from restaurants and shops.

The hotel sits on the Atlantic coast and is a 10-minute walk from Rabat’s beaches. For guests arriving by car, free public parking is available nearby. Said, the head of staff, was pleasant and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was tasty.

The property is 500 metres from the city centre and 1.2 km from Plage de Rabat. The location was strategically located near to most of places. Riad has towels, shampoo and soap. Washroom and room was very clean with a kitchen. Owner was very kind and accomodating with a free tea 😅. I was even ask to leave my baggage since my flight was at night. I was able to roam around the medina. Room was very safe since owner is giving you keys to your room and main door, so you can stay out till what time you want.
