The accommodation was really nice! Also the owner is such a inspiring woman! She does amazing things to the community! Really recommend staying here! Two kids showed us the villages and beautiful beach which was amazing too!

Sound of lake all the time. Everyday you see people doing their everyday stuff in the lake. You can feel the village vibe. Sunsets are beautiful.

We stayed at Kulenga after a long trip on the Ilala ferry. The staff are super friendly, bed was comfy, the place very peaceful and the shakshuka breakfast really delicious!

Very nice and remote place to chill and enjoy the lake on a surfing board! Mist comfortable beds I had I months!

It was almost as if we were close family. Nothing was too much trouble. Taffy was entertaining and was hugely knowledgeable of Malawi.

The room (in the back yard, double room with own toilet & shower) was very good for the price. The location is perfect, in a quiet area, and just a short walk to the village. The food was very tasty, with vegetarian options available. The staff was super friendly, always smiling. We stayed for 10 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. Try the sunset cruise with their catamaran :) also the National park is a short walk away from the lodge, so we took a hike towards the view point and to Otter Point.
