The place was magical! Feels like a bamboo hut in the jungle, but with the comforts and amenities of a boutique hotel. Don't worry about the bugs, the rooms are fully covered in mosquito netting and we didn't see a single one. The food was delicious, check-in was easy, and it was walking distance to the Coba ruins, and close to the road to the cenotes. We were expecting a nice place to sleep for a night, and Junglas y Estrellas FAR exceeded what we were hoping for. Even better were the hosts who treated us like family from the moment we arrived! We can't say enough kind things about them!

Fabián, the host, is very kind and knowledgeable about the area. It was like staying with a friend. It's generally very quiet, super clean, nice breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and big with hoy water, big bed, hammock and sliding doors towards the lagoon. We wish we stayed longer..!

It’s an amazing and original property, that is unlike any other. It feels like a temple, designed with vision, the pools are so gorgeous. The staff is wonderful, the rooms so beautiful and comfortable, with eye for detail. We love this place and return to it. The location is strangely enough also great: although away from Tulum or Valladolid, it’s located on the edge of a small village by a lake. It’s very relaxing.

It is a great place to enjoy a quiet time. The restaurant even offered vegan options and the staff was very helpful. I was surprised how easy it was to get there without a car. The hotel offers bikes for a visit of the nearby ruins in the wild.

The patrons Antonio and Auri where amazing and so very kind. She cooked us a homemade meal with the best mole we have ever eaten and he told us all about Mayan culture and history. In the evening we listened to stories about life here in Coba. The pod we slept in was so cute and cosy, we really liked it. The surroundings where beautiful and so still and peaceful.The next morning a home cooked breakfast and a smoke and cacao ceremony which was impressive and quite fun. The chocolate and honey was so good!! Without our hosts it would have been nice but they made it extra special and spectacular. Thank you so much. Little shout out to Uba y Lola.

The lady hosting the place was incredibly nice, filled out water bottles countless times and was so helpful. The location was great as it is on the main route and you can wave down the bus for Valladolid right in front. The AC works great!!!
