Accommodation in Abcoude

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The building was historic and beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and well-designed. We loved the exploring the picturesque town of Abcoude and it was a quick 20 minute ride into Amsterdam. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We loved having a quick coffee and breakfast each morning before exploring (best coffee we had all trip!). Highly recommend staying here! Can't wait to return.

Location and design of the room. The view from the window is amazing.

Great hotel, very clean and standardised. Super convenient if you’re going to a concert at the Ziggo Dome – it’s just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Oscar and Martha (if I remember from those name tags correctly) at the reception. Their warm welcome and genuine smiles made the stay even more enjoyable.

This place is gorgeous! The apartment is right at the center and so comfy and cozy with a luxurious feel. But what made our stay were the friendly people who dealt with our booking and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend!

We've stayed here on a number of occasions. Car is essential. It is a great location for visiting Amsterdam (via the train or underground - about 10 mins drive away). We like being in the countryside and the accomodation itself is fine for self-catering. Good value for money.

We had a very pleasant stay, nice spacious house, great location, in the countryside by canals, very quiet, very clean place, everything you need to cook. Everything was ok and as expected! We highly recommend this place. Only 12 minutes from the P+R Arena Johan Cruijff where you can take the metro to go to Amsterdam center. 13 minutes from food stores in Vinkeveen. 40 minutes from Keukenhof and other famous places (zaanse schans, Volendam Edam...)

The room was nicely designed and located right beside a little channel. We had no personal interaction with staff but the communication before and after the stay was timely a clear.

Amazing house with beautiful decor. We enjoyed our stay so much! Lovely outside area with seats/sofas etc. Exceptionally comfortable beds. Various shops, local bakery and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We chose to stay here as it was slightly outside central Amsterdam, as we didn't want to be right in the hustle and bustle! We could walk to the train station within 5 minutes and the train took approximately 20 minutes to central Amsterdam. Much cheaper fares than taxi or uber as well! The location was perfect for us. Hosts were very helpful and easily contactable if needed. Would highly recommend staying here and choose to stay here if we visited Amsterdam again in the future.

I stayed 4 days in this wonderful house. We were all delighted with the place. It had 3 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs, accessible by an internal staircase. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The hosts were friendly and gave us recommendations for the area. A beautiful windmill is a 2-minute walk away. There is ample parking. In the village of Abcoude, there is a train station that takes you directly to Amsterdam Central Station. In short, we would definitely stay in this house again. We had an amazing time there. 100% recommended. Thank you for everything!!!

Excellent historic windmill vacation. It's a historic relic and the owner Maarten has made it as comfortable as it can be, paying much attention to small details. We've got everything we needed for the stay!

- Natuurhuisje Abcoude is very well-equipped and spacious. - There is a very nice terrace on both sides of the appartment. - There are many great walks and cycle tours to be made in the area. - The host is modest but very attentive and he is very keen on making your stay a success.
