Lovely room with garden in renovated barn. Exceptional breakfast.

We stayed here during the GP of Assen. We rented one of the prominent tent accommodations. It had a nice deck in front of the tent, proper mosquito net to keep the tent, mosquito free and comfortable beds. Both the bunk beds and two twins were nice.

The location and tranquility. Location great. Local town close by.

Location was very remote and quiet although we found stores an east drive away. Was a lovely adventure.

A great place to stay that is off the beaten path, yet has easy access to the main roadways. The check in was easy as the host met us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The parking was plentiful and parking in front, we could see the car from the room. The security was good as the town was fairly small and there was not a lot of traffic on the road out front. You enter in a hallway with rooms on the left and the breakfast room on the right. The breakfast room is nice with big picnic-style tables and a refrigerator that is also for the using. The host has also included some niceties, like soda and wine that you may purchase in the breakfast room. If you wanted to get some takeaway and bring it back, this would be a nice, quiet and roomy place for a meal. The bed was nice and comfortable and it has a TV, but we didn’t use it. The room also had a love seat and a table. The shades close easily and the windows open if you need some more air in the room. The bedding was O.K. and there were side tables with plugs on both sides. The bathroom was nice, clean and spacious and the shower was great. The host even included some nice shampoo and soap. The surroundings are nice as the property is very well kept and the outdoor space is very comfortable. I would recommend a stay here, especially if you want a great, out-of-the-way place for a good night’s sleep.

The facilities are great and the staffs were all friendly

Basic and very comfortable, basic-fit in walking distance. A good restaurant with opening times till very late. Very friendly staff and possibility to walk outside freely.

The host was amazing! She was very friendly and went out of her way to make my stay amazing. The location was great and the amenities were as promised. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

This place is top in terms of bang for your buck. Everything you need in accommodations and room to spare in the budget.

The White Cloud is an Eastern meditation retreat center. Beautiful garden, quiet, a warden who listens and has attention for his guests, excellent care.

Friendly, communicative host. Comfortable place in a convenient location for me.
