As pretty much everyone reviewed, this place was great. I decided to take the 1:30 pm bus from Arequipa to Cabanaconde. It sucked that I got there at 9 pm, but I thought it would be better than having to wake up at 3 am for a bus and then start my hike right afterwards. A few days out I messaged Leandro. He sent me an image of the restaurant menu to order something in advance in case I arrived after the restaurant closed. Sure enough I arrived late. The team cooked me a pizza, stayed open for me, and then heated up the pizza when I got there. The included breakfast was great as well. Sorry that I don’t know everyone’s name, but thank you so much to Leandro and team for making my visit wonderful. I’m a world where many people do not care, I really get the impression that this place does care about their customers overall experience at the Colca Canyon!

The bed was really comfy. Our room was at the back and was a bit chilly even in full sun, but there was enough blankets. The hostel has a tiny kitchen on the highest level where they serve breakfast with the view on the main square.

Really amazing place, clean pool refilled every day, such nice staff. Amazing views, facilities. Room is great, not much hot water, but it's ok.

After trekking 11h we were looking forward to jump into the pool and eat. Pool was really nice: don't understand the other reviews. Dinner was vegetarian and was around 20 soles. Breakfast at 5am with loooots of carbs Room was OK, hot water, clean, towels, good wifi.

A beautiful ecolodge in the centre of the oasis! The rooms are basic but comfortable, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. Cozy and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day of trekking or to prepare for the final ascent :)
