Ivan is an incredible host, he made me feel at home, caring down to the smallest detail. He is very friendly, a very nice person and he makes sure that you enjoy your stay to the fullest, he has the best will for everything. The bungalows were beautifully equipped and felt almost brand new inside. The shared kitchen had everything we needed, and the private beach just a few steps away was perfect for relaxing. A great public beach for swimming is only 2 minutes away by car. The best part was the incredibly helpful host who gave us great tips for activities and restaurants — he truly went above and beyond!

Ohiti Lodge is magical!! Located on a small, privately owned peninsula our stay at Bungalow Teipo was exceptional. The bungalow itself is situated about 50 meters from the beach which is secluded and sees very little foot traffic. The ocean water was crystal clear and fantastic for snorkelling. There is also a shaded area for those who, like us, are venturing from post winter climates and need a little protection from the sun but still want to enjoy the beach. We got to see sunrises from here too. The bungalow itself has been thoughtfully stocked so that you can enjoy cooking at the residence. There is great air conditioning in the bedroom, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The area outside is wonderful to enjoy relaxing and dining in the warm Moorea air. The only negative I can think of is that the road to the lodge is a little challenging. My advice would be just to take it slowly. Vaea is an excellent host! Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us lots of helpful hints about the area too. Thank you 🌸

Loved the warm welcome, the well-equipped bungalow, the outside lounging/dining/bbq area, the long wild beach and most of all the sound of the wind in the ironwood trees and coconut palms. Convenient as well for shops and restaurants.

However, our experience at "Haere Mai | Te Fare" in Moorea shattered this notion. Opting for their "Family Bungalow" with two double beds and one single bed, a private bathroom, and a delightful balcony, we found a perfect blend of comfort and affordability at $135/night, with an additional $15 per person for a scrumptious breakfast. 💼💤 It's worth noting that payments are accepted only in local currency, and cards, Euros, or Dollars are not accommodated. 💳🚫💶💵 What truly set the ambiance apart was the captivating presence of a grand rubber tree at the heart of the property, coupled with Polynesian decor that adorned the entire space. The owners, exceptionally warm and attentive, ensured all our needs were met with enthusiasm. 🌳🎨🛌 However, accessing the location requires a rental car or at least a scooter, as it's a 5-minute drive from the main road, conveniently close to both the ferry terminal and the airport. Additionally, the Sofitel Hotel nearby offers a tempting day pass for exploration. 🚗🏍️🏨 I wholeheartedly recommend "Haere Mai | Te Fare" to fellow travelers heading to Moorea. For a better deal, consider reaching out to them directly. Our delightful stay was a testament to the charm of local hospitality and the hidden gems waiting to be discovered. 🌺🌴✨

I loved the location of this property- right on the water’s edge with the lagoon as part of the ‘garden’ We snorkelled several times each day and also enjoyed sitting on the patio just watching the sea-life. We could see dolphins in the distance in early morning and black tip reef sharks close in the mornings. Turtles were there all the time!! It was idyllic and I would happily return. Elodie and Renaud are great hosts. They provided us with really useful tips and information beforehand. Our room had a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave and we made use of all of them as we enjoyed sitting on our patio for breakfast and then having a snack and some wine in the evenings. We had our main meal at lunchtime while we were out - French-style! On our first morning we paid extra for breakfast provided by Elodie and that was nice but too much for us as we prefer a light breakfast if we’re going to eat out for lunch. But we noticed that most people do opt for this and it’s good value.
