Accommodation in Baclayon

Marquis was wonderful with two beautiful pools with great views! We got upgraded to a super nice villa. The food in the restaurant was amazing every time, really impressed. But the best part was all the staff!! Everyone was so sweet and super friendly and helpful!

Everything was perfect! The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfy, TV has Netflix, breakfast is delicious, staff are friendly and sweet, plus there’s a fantastic restaurant just opposite with live music! We had a fantastic stay and will be back again :)

Excellent communication between us and the host, the apartment is very clean and well kept! The pantry is filled with useful items, from spices, rice and spare water, they really thought of everything. Great service with setting up a moped rental and transfer to the port. Frankly an excellent experience.

Staff were amazing Zainit was a totally amazing host and chef ielliene was fantastic you could not ask for better. OK it's a bit rustic but that is the charm of the place it totally grounds you . I would 100 percent recommend this place to stay you will leave this place totally elated with memories that will stay with you for life . 🙏❤️

Host is very responsive and accomodating. We feel very safe at the location. The house is very cozy and clean. We all wish we stayed in this place for two nights, instead of staying our first night in another place.

The view from the 3rd floor is so stunning. I was even able to fly my drone and capture ocean views. The staff named Jes is so friendly and helpful in everything we need.

Everything was clean, the staff was very polite and helpful and the room was exactly as it’s shown on the pictures. The breakfast was also very nice with many choices and the view was very beautiful both day and night.

The hotel the staff and the view were all incredible! The owners are super nice as well! Everything we needed or wanted we got with a smile and kindness. The outside looks a bit uninviting, more commercial looking but that all changes as soon as you walk in. Excellent staff with cheerful smiles very efficient, a lift, lovely dining area, all fresh and clean. Limitless hot and cold fresh drinking water. Comfy bed. AC a little noisy. Hot shower fluffy towels.  The hotel arranged a car for us but couldn't guarantee it fully comprehensive insurance so we sourced one off the Internet. Apparently (do check) a new car is always fully comprehensive to it's first 3 years. A short ride up to road(15p PP jeepney) was a food court (Hideout) good food but musicians on every night were good but a little loud for us oldies. A little further the Island village shopping Mall had everything you could need (including Banks and ATMs) . Adjacent to the mall was the Dao bus terminal which serves quite a lot of the island. 

The location was amazing, the view from there no other place in Bohol or Panglao can give. The staff was very friendly and ready to help.

The amenities, the food, the service, all the staff are polite and treating every guest with respect.

The owners ,Susan, thats why the name Sanset not with a U🤔 were very accommodating. Its a basic, more Filipino resort, no fancy amenities.The owners live in the front the rooms are in the bsck so you can always contact them if there are problems like water ( it stops at nite) due to reservoir.There is a pool, a shared kitchen, a karaoke and fruit trees around plus hammock. A beautiful sunset you can watch if you go up the viewing deck. All in all i am happy and my family likes the place specially my aunt chit chatting with Susan everyday. I csn recommend the place if you need a place to stsg in Albur, Bohol.

Villa de Gloria opened 10 years ago. The owners, Ernie and Gloria, have turned what was once a jungle patch of land into a garden of Eden. You can see that Ernie has a real passion for gardening. We stayed in the cute bungalows by the sea and even had hummingbirds visit our front porch. There is a stairway that takes you down to the water, a small bamboo chill-out area, and a platform to snorkel from. You can also rent kayaks or SUP boards from them. There are also two swings hanging from the cliff that you can use during low tide. Ernie and his wife are very accommodating. My girlfriend was very sick when we arrived, and they took us to the hospital and helped us check in. Ernie has traveled a lot, has a broad worldview, and we had many interesting conversations with him. We would be glad to come back someday.
