Accommodation in Capelas

The hotel just opened and it has a very cute magical atmosphere that we really loved! We stayed in the bungalows, they were very clean and they really have everything you need. They provide a middle-sized swimming pool (alas, not heated unfortunately!) and a very nice garden area. The breakfast was amazing, very rich and tasty and with a lot of options to choose from! The receptionist was also very helpful and kind in assisting us and welcoming us.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.

The plunge pool in the green house was lovely as was the garden and rooms with an outdoor place to sit.

Everything about this place made us very happy: - the staff, always trying to make it work for us - the room was big, very clean, with good air conditioning (for heat) - the gardens very peaceful and well maintained - the pineapple tour just for us with a lovely host - the food, both breakfast (with fresh fruits, local cheese, ham and breads) and the dinner - you have to reserve it

It was just great. Very beautiful and comfy room with the sea view. We also got a free upgrade of the room because of our honeymoon. Amazing breakfast, all the staff was very nice and helpful too. If we will be back on the island we would definitely come back to this hotel.

We had an amazing stay. The house is very clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. The owner is very very kind. We booked the “horse room” and we had a fantastic view in the morning. We highly recommend this place.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is amazing. It is operated by a wonderful couple who try to renovate a beautiful estate which is like a mini Downton Abbey. Visit them it is a beautiful place wonderful building and garden and every little detail has been taken care of

We really enjoyed everything from the first moment we came into the appartement. House is stylish, well equiped, tidy and everything was perfectly clean. The terrace has beautifull view over the ocean and the town. It is a calm area and parking is not a problem. Communication with Paulo and Cíntia was great, they were so kind and helpfull, especially when some possible problems with our flight occured. Once we return to the island, we will certainly come back again.

The location was amazing with a stunning view of the coastline and island only a few steps away. The natural pool was also great.

Gorgeous house and very well equipped. Great restaurant, about 5 mins walk away which I would highly recommend.
