We had a great time for more than a week with my family with teenage kids. The place is great for a relaxing holiday far away from the busy north east areas of Samui. The bungalows are cosy and recently renovated, and the pool and dining area are comfortable for chilling out after beach days. Wifi is good, which was of help as I needed to occasionally do some work, while kids could play online video games. The location is very good within an greenery area with palm trees, however it is outside of busy towns so it is recommended to rent a motorbike or a car. Direct access to the beach requires a bit of walking while going to restaurants in the area requires transportation. Lipanoi beach (7-8 min by car/motorbike) is great with fine sand and clear water (we were there in early April). We highly appreciated the personal and friendly attitude of the owner Peter who is daily engaged in the place. He gave us many advice on best beaches, restaurants and sightseeing spots in the whole Samui, and all his advice turned out very valuable!

Definitely it’s one of the best places where I stayed for the last period. I was lucky and stayed there alone. This place is close to waterfall within 10 min of walk. All facilities need are provided. And the whole vibe of this place was like a miracle and reminded me Bali with its rich nature, amazing sounds of birds, the meditative atmosphere and calmness. If you are looking for calm place, I would highly recommend to stay in this beautiful resort! We like everything about this place. Very big and nice villa with huge bathroom. Private beach, pool, nice area around the villas. Dinner on the beach with sunset was unbelievable! Food is delicious. Everything is very clean and organised. This place is magical! We extended our stay 2 times because we enjoyed it so much. - big rooms - very good restaurant and delicious breakfast - the best beach on koh samui. - quiet area - laundry, restaurants and kiosks in walking distance - yoga facilities. Mostly Hatha yoga classes, but you can also use the facilities when the classes are over. - very good gym - free SUP and kayaks -Kind and helpful staff - good massage and scooter rentals We enjoyed 14 days here and wished we could have stayed longer.

We had an absolute pleasure and an exceptional stay at Ida B. The place was very quiet and did not feel like a busy "resort" as there are only a few rooms, and the place finds the perfect combination between a hotel and a villa or a private house type of stay. The staff were caring and attentive, the room was the best I've ever stayed in. There are 2 pools (1 is semi private (I think shared by a couple rooms)) but I highly recommend booking a room with a pool view (i.e. this room) as you wake up with the best view of the island you can ask for and a view to the prettiest pool in Koh Samui. There was also a tennis court, cinema, billiard room, 2 spa rooms, an ice bath room, sauna, hamam, gym, boxing/yoga room, wine room, and more. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again.
