Accommodations in Leye

We are already planning our next stay here again next year. That’s how we loved our time here, we regret not staying here earlier and longer. The host, 邱梅惠, was the best. She tried her best to speak to us in our language (through a translator app). She laughed when we made mistakes, which made us very comfortable and at home. It’s so peaceful here and the ambiance is just beautiful. Her pet birds wake you up very nicely in the morning and she serves a very healthy and hearty breakfast that we appreciated even if it was mostly vegetables. The room is VERY BIG, CLEAN, and COZY. You get a beautiful view of the forest and the sound of the river. I recommend requesting for the room in the farthest right to get a view of the mountains.

Excellent all around. Lovely staff. Beautiful roof deck.

The boss lady was so nice to us! She will provide valuable suggestions for our trip, as well as finding cheap transport for us.! Thanks a lot!

Service is amazing, everyone is so helpful and kind

The place was very nice and the hosts were great! Perfect for a group trip

Location. Nice decor, Japanese inspired. Nice sunrise on the rooftop. The bus from Chiayi left us in front of the property.

The accessibility abd the overlooking of the mountains with their glass wall

Our room was new, impeccably clean and very spacious. We only spent one night but enjoyed our stay. The owner's son was very friendly and communicative. There was tea being brewed on the property so the whole place had a very pleasant herbal aroma (we even bought some tea).

Such a peaceful place to stay, I highly recommend it! It's quiet and with a beautiful view, one can lay/chill on the terrace. There's a common room to have breakfast together. The host is lovely, she's an interesting person, dedicated and she can arrange pick-up/return trips by car from Shizhuo center, either by herself/her husband or with a driver (100 twd per person). The breakfast was delicious, also prepared by the host. One can have tea/coffee for free in the common room. Good tips for hiking/buses to Alishan. I would say it's better to stay here than to stay at the Alishan National Park.

The guest house is conveniently located, it’s easy to access Alishan with the bus, and we got to learn so much about tea and life in Taiwan from the couple of owners. They were incredibly kind and generous to us, and even drove us to a restaurant nearby so we could get dinner. This place is a gem!

Room was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Toilet clean and ventilated.

Great location to Alishan recreational center. The owner is very kind and knowing the area well. She gave us tips of seeing sunrise and other attractions in the area. Room is very clean with good value

Right in tea farms with a very nice staff

The owner go out of his way to make sure that i have a comfortable stay. The accommodation itself was very spacious with the beautiful surroundings. Tea and food are very delicious! Overall,a very impressive stay.

I loved this tea farm stay it was the perfect get away from the city! Out of all of the days I spent in Taiwan the time I spent here was my favorite! I traveled about 5 hours to get here for just one night stay and it was incredibly worth it! If I return to Taiwan I will travel directly to tanapavana! Breakfast was also delicious:)

The home owners were exceptionally kind! So much so that on the way back from Alishan, they agreed to taxi us from their house to the train station when we were afraid we would miss our train. A wonderful location and close to the mist trails as well!

Absolutely stunning surroundings with the mountains and tea plantations. Our host was absolutely amazing! She picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop, she also provided us with tea tasting, which was very informative and very tasty. We also did the Misty, Teapot and Cloud trail with the trailhead just a few minutes walk from our accommodation. We loved our stay!!!

Incredibly welcoming hosts, beautiful location with the best sunset viewpoint within walking distance and great value (the free breakfast was the best we’ve had in Taiwan and the included tea ceremony and tasting was informative and delicious)!
