The Chinese style breakfast is highly recommended. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Sound proofing was great, didn't hear noise from neighbours or nearby construction work. There's off road parking a 1min walk from the hotels. Really comfy bathtub. Everything was in good condition and very clean. Dogs feel like they're encouraged, not just 'allowed'. There's a great little communal area on the first floor where you can even cook and make your own fresh-ground coffee, or just chill with friends and chat or watch TV. This is a great option if you have several groups of friends and can book an entire block of rooms. Each room has a good ceiling fan and separate air conditioning unit so you can really fine tune the atmosphere in your room to suit your preference.

The property was very clean, and the beds were so comfortable to sleep. We all had a very good sleep! The location is also very peaceful and pretty, with a great view from the 4th floor where the breakfast restaurant is on. The breakfast was also very good! More traditional Taiwanese, which was very fulfilling and tasty. Staff was so kind to us, and let us know while speaking in English was a little unfamiliar, writing was still okay. We could communicate comfortably in this way, and they still tend to us like any other guests, which was with great courtesy.

It's our 1st B&B accommodation in Yilan. We had an amazing 4 nights stay in the peaceful and beautiful Serene Gray B&B, about a month ago. Traveling in a pack of 5 with elders n a kiddo, we are initially skeptical about their comfort in a rural area; cleanliness, transport and food. We believe the key driver of success is the owner, whether he has high standards to ensure his guests experienced the upmost hospitality. Mr Lim provided us the spacious rooms as published and offered the generous spread of home cooked breakfast. And despite being a Saturday, he kindly offered to lead us to a seafood restaurant in Suao, to have the freshest taste of the local seafood delicacies. We are fortunate with our right choice in the accommodation selection and the acquaintance with a committed individual, Mr Lim. Thank you for making our stay a memorable away from home, home.

Clean and comfortable. I can feel the hard work done by the host. Some entertaining equipment like netflix, game machine, etc Can use wash machine and dryer for clothes We stayed in 302 double room this time, it was SOOOOO clean. In the bathroom has heat dryer which can keep the bathroom dry after use. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the stay a lot!
