Fabulous little newly updated hotel. Well done on a fantastic hotel with lots of extra details. Good value for money and the best place to stay in Hilo without a doubt which was recommended to us.

One of the most impressive hostels that I have ever stayed in in years. Great beds, well equipped kitchen, amazing showers/toilet facilities and common area. Strong wifi, too! And free pancake and coffee in the morning.

Didn't expect too much from a B&B in the middle of the town other than a great location to explore the place. But the moment you step in the room, you are in a beautifully put together place where everything is available: kitchenett with Coffee station and fridge, bath with bath tube, comfy bed and TV. I liked the color theme thoughout the room of white, grey and wood-colored.

Close to nature, cozy, close to city

Orchid tree is exceptionally beautiful, totally solar powered with a beautiful pool, hot tub and landscaping, a large lanai for relaxing and the room is truly large with lounge able furniture , pristine clean. Many places we’ve stayed give you pictures that don’t really represent the place when you arrive. However orchid tree is wonderful as are the hosts, both friendly and responsive ! Breakfast was just fine with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a good selection of Juices , breads, cream cheese, etc as well as freshly ground coffee. (Plenty for us but if you are an egg type there’s always places in town). But the lanai, the waves crashing, the superb coffee, we didn’t need more!

The atmosphere there was quiet and amazing! Breakfast delicious and the host very kind! We really loved our stay, it is a very welcoming and relaxing place 😊 Thank you

The location was perfect for us - easy 1.2km walk to Hilo Bay Numerous food places within walking distance Each room has an air conditioning unit Facilities were in good, clean and working order Having a touchpad entry was very convenient

the house was equipped with everything we needed - thank you for the nice welcome presents which we enjoyed. The house was very clean and the service +communication was fast, very friendly and excellent. We had the best time in Hilo and around. The house was perfect to spend time together during breakfast or enjoying the garden or cooking dinners in the evening - it almost felt like home

It was amazingly clean and quiet. We slept really well. Using swimming pool was nice. Good communication with the host. No problems to cook food too.

Everything is perfect, peaceful. I enjoyed very much.
