Location on the beach. Close to many nice restaurants. Kauai is very beautiful and I highly recommend a visit to the island. Islander Resort Oceanfront #149 is a good base for exploring the island.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a stunning view of the lush garden and swimming pool. Its prime location right by the ocean meant we could admire the sea directly from our room. It was the perfect setting for watching the sunrise, practicing morning yoga. On our first day, we also made use of the free bicycle rentals. Breakfast was included and consisted of a simple yet varied selection of pastries and fresh fruit. We were particularly grateful that they allowed us to check in three hours early, providing us with towels and complimentary water bottles so we could immediately set off to explore the island and its beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer
