The property is very well located in the Centre of town, a 10 min walk from the restaurants and bars of Kloof Street and a 12 min drive to the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. The rooms are a great size and very clean, and come at a very reasonable price. By far the greatest attraction of staying in Cactusberry are Dorian and Kieran - absolute top lads who really know their stuff when it comes to Cape Town recs and will make sure you get the best of the city. The breakfasts are also excellent!

This is a fabulous guest house, the owner Jaques meets you and is really welcoming and informative. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a nice continental buffet style, with plenty of options. There are two pools, we only used the main one, but very clean and a good temperature. Plenty of towels and beds / seating by the pool. They also have a driver, who will shuttle you around for approximately the same cost as an uber, but he's very reliable and that’s important. The rooms are very well equipped, plenty of storage, a safe and comfy beds. There's an honesty bar, which is well stocked for most needs I would think. We will absolutely go back to stay the next time we are in Constantia.

We had several colleagues stay here when visiting Cape Town and they all raved about their stay. Roy (and team) was phenomenal in meeting folks when they landed at odd hours, accommodated early check-ins and even allowed a late checkout (when a flight cancellation disrupted the planned stay).
