Amazing rooms and cozy setting

We had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for more. The place was absolutely spotless, with everything impeccably clean and well cared for. Breakfast was excellent, fresh, and generous, a perfect start to the day. The staff really made the difference: incredibly sweet, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The pool and relaxing outdoor area were a real highlight: peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for anyone passing through Tsitsikamma and Storms River, close to everything yet wonderfully calm. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would happily return without hesitation.

Great spot in Stormsriver with beautiful scenery. The staff were amazing and gave us a room upgrade because they were worried we would be too cold, which was lovely!

Very nice place with a lovely garden. The owners and their employees are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well and we really enjoyed our 2-days-stay.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful if they'd tried! If you wanted a model for great service Claire and Megan and the rest of the staff are the examples to follow! Nothing was too much trouble. They prepared a BBQ for us when my little boy asked for a fire, they facilitated everything we could ask for and more. This accommodation was a delight to stay at and made exceptional by some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I've met! We'd highly recommend this stay to everyone!

Gr8 location lovely family run lodge!!

We as guests had the option to buy a reasonably priced and extremely delicious dinner. And I arrived pretty shortly before dinner. Breakfast the day after was plentiful too with good coffee. There are a lot of mosquitos, but that's because of the nature surrounding the hostel. Prepare accordingly if it bothers you, but do not let it stop you from staying here. The entire area will be like that. The manager and owners are very kind and fun to talk to. And very helpful. The atmosphere created by the wooden hostel and lights is very cozy. Stays like this also often attract fun guests.

The Location is central to the activities in Storms , just bring your own groceries as the store is quite a distance and does not have a variety to choose from .

Our stay was nothing short of a dream. Situated just a stone’s throw from the rugged beauty of Tsitsikamma National Park, the house itself was an absolute sanctuary—vast, airy, and thoughtfully equipped with every modern comfort (including a much-appreciated washing machine!). The highlight, however, was the hospitality; our host was a font of local knowledge, pointing us toward the best hidden gems for dinner. They even invited us to wander the garden and pick ripe fruit right off the branch. We left with full hearts and every intention of returning.

A stunning cabin in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. We had the most wonderful time. Robert was a great host, our kids loved meeting and playing with George and the dogs!! We will definitely be back one day!

We originally booked a tent but it was extremely noisy and cold because of the wind. The manager agreed to upgrade us to a much nicer room, a dome, where we had a lovely stay!

The owner was amazing after we left some things in the safe to get them back to us quickly and safely. Couldn’t ask for more helpful staff.

We arrived at the place and the host welcomed us warmly. The rooms are amazing and fully equipped for all meals. The hosting family is wonderful, fun, and truly part of the experience. The stay was simply amazing!

Anniversary Weekend – The Hive at Misty Mountain Cloud Our anniversary weekend began tucked away in the most beautiful, serene corner of nature, The Hive at Misty Mountain Cloud. From the moment we arrived, it felt like time slowed down. Surrounded by misty forests, sweeping mountain views, and absolute quiet. The cabin itself is a perfect blend of modern luxury and natural warmth. Thoughtfully designed, intimate, and effortlessly stylish, every detail felt intentional from the cozy interiors to the large windows that invite the outdoors in.

Great accommodation. Hosts are so kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Location is great and breakfast was tasty.

The staff were incredible - so welcoming, made us feel very much at home. We arrived in a storm and they couldnt do enough to try to settle us in and make sure we were comfortable. The room was warm. The food was amazing with beautiful flavours and staying at the Hives was an absolutely incredible experience that I will always keep with me. There were lots of activities to choose from as well. I cannot recommend highly enough - one of the best parts of our visit to South Africa

A wonderfully relaxing space with very attentive staff!

We stayed at this property for one night, the last stop on our Garden Route trip. Jan and Antoinette gave us a warm welcome. We found ourselves in a lovely place with colorful apartments inspired by the vibrant Boo Kap houses. Our room was very tidy and clean, and the apartment was called Protea. Everything we needed was provided, and the kitchenware was new and complete. The place had a wonderful garden and braai area. There was even a lovely fire pit and seating around it in the braai area. Jan and Antoinette saw us off as warmly as they welcomed us. We hope to stay here again. Thank you, Jan and Antoinette!

What a well equipped cottage in a very special location, and the most welcoming caretaker who received us at 11.45pm with large smiles despite it raining and being so late!!!

We had a really nice stay at the Tsisikamma Mountain View Lodge. It's a colorful residential complex with a beautifully designed garden and courtyard. A nice dining room and a lounge looking out to the pool. The room is very nicely equipped, super clean and very comfortable. The AC/heater in the room was functioning efficiently. We visited in winter and this is the first place we stayed that has good heating equipment. The host lady, Antoinette is warm and very considerate, who had warmed up our room before we arrived. They also provided a nice breakfast with a lot of choices cooked to order. We truly enjoyed their hospitality and the fresh mountain air.
