Not too far from the village, but far enough away to feel the peace of the beautiful scenery without the hustle and bustle of the various tour groups arriving and departing. It’s also a bit closer to the starting point for the hike to Valbona if you’re heading that way, and you’re able to navigate the little trails in and around the hotel. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to welcome and make our 3 year old son feel a part of their family. The meals were exceptional and though some dishes were repeated, we chose to eat at the hotel each night we were there because of the quality and volume of food provided for the price.

The building is also an ethnographic and photo museum and features souvenir shops with traditional Albanian products. The place is very authentic, nice old style and clean rooms. A good restaurant with local food for dinner as well as some live music with it.Its very close to the city center and everyone is very nice and helpful.
