Our stay at Seehaus Familie Leifer was absolutely wonderful. The view over the lake was breathtaking, and the whole design of the room and building felt unique and inviting – high ceilings, beautiful details, and a cozy retro atmosphere that makes you want to come back. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was rich and absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options for everyone. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The town itself is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also visited Königssee, which is only about a 7-minute drive from the hotel—definitely worth seeing. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back again!

Perfect location (close to the city centre though incredibly quiet), exceptional (and aesthetically pleasing!) breakfast, very friendly staff and all the amenities you would wish for in a hotel room. In other words - perfect (and I'm not the one to use that word lightly).

The central location in close walking distance to many touristic attractions. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable and the lovely gesture of putting a Christmas tree in our room was very special and much appreciated.

The hosts are exceptional, very clear communication before arrival, and on check in they ensured that we had all the info we needed from restaurant recommendations (important as a lot were closed), and very good local advice on what to see and do eg walks, towns to visit etc. we had a very enjoyable stay. The main reason for our stay was to visit Hallstatt, we are so pleased that we chose to stay here in St. Wolfgang instead.
