Such a cool hotel! Would highly recommend. Beautiful crisp, clean and modern interiors, comfortable beds, balconies overlooking the garden, a sizeable shower, and an unbeatable breakfast - by far the best one on our trip through Europe! Convenient and tranquil location and lovely staff. Also held some of our luggage while we did the High trail hike for 5 days. Please do yourself a favour and book here. It’s worth every penny.

Staying at meiZiet Lodge was a wonderful experience and I recommend it most highly. It is a very well positioned property that has been thoughtfully designed and styled. The hosts and all the staff were very welcoming and take great pride in their hospitality. The food and service was fantastic. The bedrooms were generously sized and so comfortable. Lovely place with lovely owners and environment. We stayed for 3 nights and would love to stay more. The views were breathtaking and being in the hearth of the mountains is just lovely. Even when it rained one whole day we liked the short hikes around and just the cosiness was awesome.

The most precious place I have ever stayed! The room war clean and spacious with a vintage vibe. The staff and the owners were lovely people with kindness and hospitality. Breakfast…..oh my lord! Such abundance of fresh and traditional foods. The quality was amazing, the breakfast area very beautiful and clean, when we sat on our table they even brought us our coffee. There was also dinner included but we had eaten before we arrived (big mistake haha). There is a parking of course, closed or open like a yard. One thing I LOVED about this place is that there were everywhere little hearts as a theme, you can ask the owner(lady) why. We were there on a moto tour and Lucas gave us a lot of valuable information about things to do there and saved us from going the wrong way to the Grossglockner pass. Thank you Lucas and your mother in law you were lovely. Hope to see you again someday!

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options, including many local products. The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. The host and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful – they explained how the Sommercard works and helped us save money on our trip to the glacier. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Even though we don’t have children, we noticed there are plenty of activities for kids both indoors and outdoors. Everything was just perfect!

Very nice place to stay. Excellent location in the country fantastic views over paddock to the mountains cows with bells. Awesome. Breakfast was amazing. The lovely lady who checked me in and out was perfect English speaking, which made it so much easier.

The hotel is located in the city center, next to the gondola lifts but also bars and restaurants, which was amazing. Hotel is easy going one, what we actually liked a lot, since the staff was friendly and helpful. Also, it was full of young people but also families with the children (so suitable for everyone). Regarding the room, I would say that there is such a good value for money, since the room was cosy, clean, comfortable and cute. Honestly, we would truly recommend it and will come back again for sure. Btw, there is a parking in front of it, which is also important.

We've stayed at this property many times and again were so pleased with the service. I like to modern look and feel of the hotel and that it's so central in Schladming. Amazing staff, really engaging and so keen to help and make us feel welcome again. We stayed with our primary school-aged son and the room was perfect with the sofa beautifully made up as a third bed. Really appreciated that.

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and...

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and the restaurants, both in town and on the mountains, serve good food at reasonable prices (for ski resorts). Train transfers are easy from larger cities (we came in from Salzburg) and the buses are frequent and convenient for moving up and down the valley. If you want variety in your ski experience then you can't do better than basing yourself in Schladming.

One of the most beautiful places on this planet.

One of the most beautiful places on this planet. Easy to get around with the Ramsau am Dachstein Summercard and the bus and gondola systems. Loved the gondola to the top and the Sky walk, the Stairway to Heaven and the Stairway to Nothingness. Also liked Rittisberg and its attractions such as the Flyline, toboggan and High Ropes. The Go Karting down 7 kms of the Planai mountain was also fun

Filzmoos is one of the most beautiful villages in Austria. The mountains around are exceptional, summer hiking is real joy there. The village has everything- lot of fancy hotels, restaurants, summer terraces, swimming pool.

Perfect location, very easy to find , countless free parking spaces. Immaculate. Very good restaurant. Highly recommended for couples. The only drawback is confirmation of reservation needed by verifying your credit card.

What were your favourite places there? The Sommerrodelbahn, The Cable Car, The Postalm Panoramastrasse and the drive through Fischbach. What we highly recommend is a nice walk through the town and surrounding places itself!! This is a very very pretty place. Where did you eat? We cooked ourselves. However, we bought groceries at the Spar market in the town. Is it easy to get around Abtenau? Yes. The town is very accessible. We, however, did not use the public transport. What would you avoid on your next visit? Nothing really. The place offers a lot of things to a tourist!

Golling is a long established small town on the Salzach...

Golling is a long established small town on the Salzach river and a good base for exploring Salzburg and the nearby hills / mountains. Hotels are in the small town centre plus camping and camper van facilities nearby. Rail travel to Salzburg and on buses in Salzburg is free for holders of the Tourist Card issued without further charge to people staying at Golling hotels, This facility has recently been extended to other buses and trains over a wider area, Golling Waterfall and the canyon (Klamm) on the Salzach river attract visitors, There is a Water Park close to Golling.

Nice old town to walk around.

Nice old town to walk around. Have some nice restaurants like the Indian restaura, Namaste. Very authentic Indian food with good service and atmosphere. Another restaurant is Genusskramerei. This restaurant has a small but exclusive menu. Upmarket.

Recommendation: For kids - Geister Wald (Ghost forest) - 4,5km long hike with fun activities for kids. Our kids loved them. Just to be aware - you need to pick up from the info center a map where kids could get stamps and also you need 2euro coin to get a wooden ball from the machine you can find just at the start of the hike. Small store - very helpful staff, all the basics you need you find there Waterpark - great nature pool to chill with kids

There's one restaurant in town but the owner is very helpful...

There's one restaurant in town but the owner is very helpful and it's right across the street. There are many grocery stores in the local towns down below so we brought food to the Gasthof for dinner. The town is great for riding and hiking.
