This hotel has always been a jem in the skirts of the Alps, but now it is even better. All renewed and beautifuly designed. The staff is as always right on spot, very proffesional and polite. Free parking at the property. Perfect location with gorgeous views over the Eibsee lake and Zugspitze - the top of Germany. The restaurant offers quality fresh and gourmet food. The bar has the friendliest, knowledgeable and proffesional bartender. Will alwayshughly recommend! The SPA - facilities are the chery of the pie.

A unique property. As we were a group of 3 the apartment style room was excellent with views of the mountains. Parking was onsite in an underground garage. Breakfast was very good and the spa/sport facility older but nice. Rooms were comfortable spacious and the rate affordable. Ours even had a balcony. The individual buildings are all connected with basement hallways allowing guests to avoid slippery hills in the winter....a rather unique feature! If the weather permits be sure to go up the Zugspitze

Michael, the host was excellent. He was kind, caring and very helpful on what to do and where to go. The room size was excellent with 3 different beds and wood gave and excellent touch to it. The room was decorated beautifully with the fire set up really nicely by Michael. This was in a perfect location in the center of Garmisch and there were many eating and tourist places nearby. Zugspitze and the Partnach Gorge were very close by and very beautiful. All around it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

The apartment is immaculate! It has all major appliances to include a washing machine & dishwasher. The apartment has a wrap around deck with incredible views! There is also an outdoor table & plenty of seating with cushions on the deck. There is ample parking & this apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s within walking distance to a Lidle grocery store and downtown too. We were in the Zugspitze apartment & will be recommending it to all of our friends!

The location is close to Highline179, Zugspitze, not far from Innsbruck. A lot of parking place, stuff very friendly. Rooms are big, design I would say pretty like other mountain-style hotels in Germany and Austria. Make sure you have shampoo, the one in the room is not that good. Breakfast not too varied but tasty. The restaurant kitchen works till 9pm which is amazing, the cuisine is delicious :) There is a gas station right near the hotel with a small shop.

This is a wonderful little hotel if you are looking for a small escape from everyday life. The rooms are absolutely clean and traditionally decorated in the Bavarian style. The greatest advantage of any of the rooms are the wonderful views onto the Riesersee and Zugspitze. We particularly loved the breakfast which is put together with local products and an immaculate attention to detail. Staff is very friendly and always happy to assist or help.

Spectacular apartment with wonderful views! Tobias was so helpful and it was truly appreciated. We ended up having to leave at a ridiculous hour 5am and Tobias kindly found someone to drive us to the station as we were having troubles with everything (websites being in German). A trip up to the Zugspitze is definitely worth it We only wished we could have stayed longer, it is such a beautiful area and the people are gorgeous.

Location is excelent - close to train, regional bus, local bus station. Close to Zugspitze bahn station. At the same time, property is very quiet. Next to the property there is a bakery and cafe. There are also several super markets not far away from the hotel. All GaPa tourist areas in walkable distance. Nice people at the reception desk. Apartment is modern, clean and has everything - including top brand coffee maker.

A beautiful hotel located in a very traditional little Bavarian town with superb facility and friendly staffs. The restaurant was nice as well with self brewed beer and various traditional German menus. Hotel provides coupons that allows you to enter various venues near by with discount. Close to all famous attractions near by such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Zugspitze, Fuessen and so on.

Very well maintained hostel with welcoming hosts in an idyllic small town on the border of Austria and Germany. Great location for hikers or cyclists looking to explore the Zugspitze area without staying in a busy town or expensive hotel. Kitchen and laundry facilities were good, and breakfast buffet was well worth the small charge.

Great location near the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station and the Zugspitze train for skiing at Zugspitze. Room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. The breakfast was good and the dinner that we had one of the nights in the hotel restaurant was just fabulous. The hotel has a great sauna. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very well- equipped apartment. We could find there nearly everything we needed. It was very big, beds were really comfortable. There was also space to sit and gather together. Kitchen was even better equipeed than in my own house 😃 The apartment was very close to the railway station and Zugspitze train (4 minutes walk).

Apartment was large and quiet and had everything pots and pans needed to cook for our family. Salt and sugar but no coffee, tea or oil. Extra towels in the closet. Balconies on each side with beautiful Mountain Views. Kids loved the beds coming out of the wall :) bus stop for zugspitze and eibsee around the corner.

We had a great stay at this apartment, which is nicely situated and does have stunning view from the windows. Terrace will surely come in handy during warmer months. Our stay was a preamble before night in igloo at Zugspitze and it definitely worth to return here for a longer time. Highly recommended!

Nice apartment with great view and friendly staff. Much better than similar prices in the German side. The bus is also close and there are parking spaces available. Definitely recommend it for families and couples to enjoy the beautiful city of Ehrwald and to hike in the area of the Zugspitze.

We loved our stay at Hotel Garni Brunnthaler! The location was close to the train station, Zugspitze cog train station, restaurants, and Lidl. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, great views of the mountains, and near the Zugspitze lift. Easy access to Garmisch and surrounding towns in Austria as well. Heidi the host was super sweet! The apartment was small but very nicely decorated and so clean. Check in and access was very convenient.

Gorgeous hotel and grounds at the foot of the Zugspitze. Staff were exceptional - kind, friendly, helpful and always on the lookout to make sure we were having a good time. Great recommendations for enjoying the surrounding area. Meals were fabulous - great local selections.

Perfect location, near the train station, center of the city, and station to Zugspitze. Parking near the hotel, not that expensive. Breakfast was good and stuff really friendly and helpful. Room was big, the shower bit too small, but in total really modern and clean.
