Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

Fantastic location with a beautiful view, you are right in town! The space is perfect, very comfortable, minimal but with everything you need. Great bed and the bathroom is incredible too, really roomy and underfloor heating!! Highly recommend this place. I know we'll be going back again for sure!

A gem of a place. After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. The host was very friendly and helpful. The private parking is two blocks away, but it was easy to offload everything first and then park the car. Lots of helpful information in the folder in the apartment. Would definitely recommend for a visit to Ypres.
